Pembangunan sarana sanitasi (MCK komunal) rentan terhadap masalah keberlanjutan. Pengelolaan yang kurang baik membuat sarana ini ditinggalkan oleh penggunanya sehingga keberadaannya tidak efektif lagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas sarana sanitasi (MCK komunal) di Kota Kediri dan menanalisis faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Sarana MCK komunal yang diteliti merupakan hasil dari program SANIMAS yang sudah beroperasi selama 5 tahun atau lebih. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder yang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif. Tingkat efektivitas sarana MCK komunal dihitung dengan metode skoring sedangkan analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat efektivitas menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efektivitas sarana MCK komunal di Kota Kediri bervariasi. Terdapat sarana MCK komunal yang masuk kategori efektif dan tidak efektif. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat efektivitas yaitu tingkat pelayanan. Tingkat pelayanan memberikan pengaruh terhadap perubahan nilai tingkat efektivitas dengan persamaan regresi Y= 0,257 + 1,413 X.

Construction of sanitation facilities (communal MCK) were exposed to issues of sustainability. Poor management makes this means abandoned by the user so that its existence is not effective again. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sanitation facilities (communal MCK) in Kediri and analyze the factors that influence it. The communal toilet facilities studied is the result of SANIMAS program that has been operating for 5 years or more. This research uses primary and secondary data were analyzed using quantitative analysis method. The effectiveness of the communal toilet facilities is calculated by the method of scoring, while the analysis of the factors affecting the level of effectiveness of using linear regression analysis. The results showed that the level of effectiveness of the communal toilet facilities in Kediri varied. There is a communal toilet facilities were categorized as effective and ineffective. Factors affecting the effectiveness of that level of service. The level of service to give effect to changes in the value of the level of effectiveness of the regression equation Y = 0.257 + 1.413 X
