INTISARI Latar Belakang: Berkas rekam medis harus disimpan dalam suatu sistem penyimpanan yang baik dan sistematis agar dapat memudahkan dalam pengambilan dan penemuan kembali. Kunjungan kembali pasien rawat inap, rawat jalan, dan gawat darurat mengakibatkan penambahan berkas dan ketebalan berkas rekam medis. Hal ini berdampak pada ketersediaan rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis yang menjadi sempit dan penuh sehingga seringkali menghambat proses penyimpanan dan pengambilan berkas rekam medis, sehingga diperlukan proyeksi ketersediaan rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis guna mengetahui sampai berapa lama rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis mampu menampung berkas rekam medis dan didalam kebutuhan rak diperlukan biaya untuk kebutuhan rak selama 5 tahun mendatang. Maka itu untuk menentukan biaya harus diikuti dengan perhitungan kebutuhan rak medis. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kebutuhan rak rekam medis untuk lima tahun mendatang . Mengetahui ketersediaan rak rekam medis untuk lima tahun mendatang . Mengetahui biaya untuk kebutuhan rak 5 tahun mendatang di Rumah Sakit Happy Land Medical Centre. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross sectional, menggunakan populasi subyek petugas bagian rekam medis Rumah Sakit Happy Land Medical Centre Yogyakarta dan populasi obyek yaitu berkas rekam medis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil: Kebutuhan rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis di Rumah Sakit Happy Land Medical Centre Yogyakarta 1 tahun dan 5 tahun mendatang pada jenis rak rool o� pack 9 unit dan 44 unit . Kemampuan rak penyimpanan pada rool o� pack 1 muka ; 85 meter atau 17 unit dan untuk Ketersediaan rak penyimpanan di Rumah Sakit Happy Land Medical Centre Yogyakarta tidak mencukupi untuk lima tahun yakni dan untuk 1 tahun mendatang mencukupi dengan 9 unit. Maka biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk membeli rak pada kebutuhan 44 unit ada dua pilihan yakni pada perusahaan Sentra Kantor yakni senilai Rp.157.771.900,00. Sementara jika memilih perusahaan Kantor Pedia yakni senilai Rp 160.461,600,00.

Results: The need for medical record file storage shelf in the Happy Land Hospital Medical Centre in Yogyakarta 1 year and 5 years on the type of rack rool o 'pack 9 unit and 44 units.
