Tugas akhir yang berjudul "Proses Adaptasi Autoplastis Mahasiswa Program Studi D3 Bahasa Korea UGM Angkatan 2011 yang Belajar di Korea" ini merupakan hasil wawancara dengan Mahasiswa D3 Bahasa Korea UGM yang pernah tinggal di Korea. Tugas akhir ini mendeskripsikan proses adaptasi mahasiswa program studi D3 Bahasa Korea UGM tahun angkatan 2011 selama tinggal di Korea. Proses adaptasi tersebut meliputi kesan pertama ketika tinggal di Korea, culture shock yang dialami para mahasiswa dan pengalaman mereka ketika menyesuaikan diri dengan budaya-budaya masyarakat Korea. Berdasarkan pengertiannya, proses adaptasi ada 2 yaitu secara aktif dan pasif. Dalam penelitian ini, pembahasan hanya dibatasi pada hal-hal yang terkait proses adaptasi mahasiswa secara pasif. Proses tersebut disebut adaptasi autoplastis. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data dan pengamatan yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa ada hal-hal dari Korea yang membuat para mahasiswa terkesan dan ada beberapa faktor yang membuat para mahasiswa mengalami culture shock. Selain itu, terdapat pula budaya-budaya yang diadaptasi oleh mahasiswa D3 Bahasa Korea UGM selama tinggal disana. Budaya-budaya tersebut meliputi budaya disiplin, budaya palli-palli dan budaya fashion.

Graduating paper entitled "Autoplastic adaptation process of diploma degree Korean language student of University of Gadjah Mada class of 2011 who had studied in Korea" is the result from interviews with the diploma degree Korean language student of University of Gadjah Mada class of 2011 who has lived in Korea. This graduating paper describes about the adaptation process by korean language student of University of Gadjah Mada class of 2011 while stay in Korea. The adaptation process includes the first impression lived in Korea, culture shock experience by the students and experience when adjusting to Korean culture. Based understanding, the adaptation process consist of two adaptation namely passive and active. In this discussion limited to matters related to the process of adaptation of students passively. This process called autoplastic adaptation. Based on collection of data and observations, many things that make students of Korean impressed and there are several factors make students feel culture shock. In addition, some cultures were adapted by the students, the culture included discipline, palli-palli culture and culture of fashion.
