HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KEBUTUHAN PERAWATAN ORTODONTI DAN PERSEPSI KEBUTUHAN PERAWATAN ORTODONTI SISWA SMP N 1 YOGYAKARTA

Indeks Perawatan Ortodonti dibuat untuk memberikan informasi dasar dan meminimalkan subjektivitas. Indeks Of Orthondontic Treatment Need merupakan salah satu indeks yang memiliki fungsi untuk menilai kebutuhan perawatan ortodonti suatu individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kebutuhan ortodonti berdasarkan Index Of Orthodontic Treatment Need dan persepsi kebutuhan perawatan ortodonti siswa SMPN 1 Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalahsiswa SMPN 1 Yogyakarta umur 13-15 tahun berjumlah 41 orang. Kebutuhan perawatan ortodonti dinilai dengan pemeriksaan menggunakan indeks IOTN Dental Health Component dan persepsi kebutuhan dinilai menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji validitas (Pearson Product Moment) dan Reliabilitas (Alpha Cronbach). Data dianalisis menggunakan Spearman Rank Corelation. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p< 0,05) antara tingkat kebutuhan ortodonti berdasarkan Index Of Orthodontic Treatment Need dan persepsi kebutuhan perawatan ortodonti siswa SMPN 1 Yogyakarta dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,515.

Orthodontic Treatmentis Indices construed to provide basic information and to minimalize subjectivity in diagnosis. Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need is one of the indexes utilized to measure the personal need of orthodontic treatment for each individual. This research is conducted to understand the relation between the need of orthodontic treatment based on Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need and the students of SMPN 1 Yogyakarta����¯�¿�½������¢������¯������¿������½������¯������¿������½s perception about orthodontic treatment. The subject of this research is 13-15 years old students of SMPN 1 Yogyakarta as much as 41subject.The need of orthodontic treatment is measured by Index Of Orthodontic TreatmentNeed usingDental Heath Component method. The perception about the need is measured by a validated questionnaire (Pearson Product Moment) and Reliability (Alpha Croncbach). The Spearman Rank Corelationis used to analyze the data. The result of the research shows that there exist a significant relation (p<0,05) between the need of orthodontic based on Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need and the students of SMPN 1 Yogyakarta����¯�¿�½������¢������¯������¿������½������¯������¿������½s perception about the need of orthodontic treatment with correlation significant is 0,515.
