Aksi penolakan apartemen warga Dusun Gadingan bukan sekedar penolakan terhadap pembangunan apartemen tetapi ada upaya berkelanjutan untuk melawan praktik permainan kotor dibalik kebijakan pembangunan apartemen tersebut. Warga menunjukkan aksi-aksi penolakan dalam rangkaian periode waktu yang secara terus-menerus mengalami peningkatan. Terlebih aksi perlawanan terus berkembang diatas klaim kolektif. Perkembangan aksi yang ditunjukkan warga ini bukan sekedar aksi dengan basis isu melainkan aksi yang muncul atas dorongan kekuatan dukungan warga. Meskipun dibalik kekuatan tersebut masih terjadi pro dan kontra terkait penolakan pembangunan apartemen tersebut. Kekuatan mobilisasi sumberdaya menjadi tumpuan utama terpeliharanya gerakan penolakan ini yang diharapkan mencapai keberhasilan. Upaya ini dilakukan oleh warga Dusun Gadingan dalam penguatan kepentingan, organsasi, mobilisasi, dan aksi kolektif. Selain itu dilakukan pula upaya penguatan jaringan secara terus-menerus melalui sumber daya yang ada baik itu ke luar maupun ke dalam. Hal itu dilakukan untuk tetap dalam periode perlawanan kolektif, karena kekuatan sumberdaya harapannya mampu mempengaruhi kebijakan. Aksi penolakan warga Dusun Gadingan terbingkai oleh perlindungan kebudayaan yang dikelola oleh aktor. Dampak fisik dan dampak sosial akibat pembangunan apartemen yang mengancam keberadaan warga dan kearifan lokal di sekitar pembangunan apartemen menjadi dasar mereka untuk tetap berjuang dalam penolakan. Kelanjutan perjuangan tersebut tidak lain juga sebagai upaya warga untuk menempatkan posisi mereka agar diperhitungkan oleh pemerintah dalam mempengaruhi produksi kebijakan. Munculnya aksi warga ini menguatkan identitas warga Dusun Gadingan dalam upaya penolakan tersebut. Mereka melawan bukan hanya sekedar berputar-putar pada perundingan kesepakatan kompensasi atau ganti rugi tetapi sudah menjadi harga mati bahwa mereka secara utuh menolak pembangunan apartemen. Bukan mereka anti pembangunan melainkan upaya mereka memberi perlindungan terhadap wilayah mereka yang berkelanjutan untuk anak cucu mereka. Metode pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena mampu menjadi alat bagi peneliti untuk memperdalam kasus yang dihadapi dari berbagai dimensi baik sosial, politik, maupun budaya. Kemudian penggunaan metode studi kasus tunggal sebagai upaya penyelidikan aksi kolektif penolakan apartemen tersebut. Dimana ada batasan ruang dan waktu, sehingga peneliti dapat mengumpulkan informasi secara lengkap dan jelas.

Where there is limit space and time, so researcher can collect information complete and clear.
