RESPON MAHASISWA TERHADAP PERILAKU MEROKOK ( Studi tentang Respon Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik terhadap Perilaku Merokok Mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Gadjah Mada )

Peraturan Bupati Sleman no. 42 Bab II, pasal 3 ayat 1 tahun 2012 menjelaskan tempat proses belajar mengajar seperti Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Gadjah Mada merupakan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR) yang diikuti dengan adanya peraturan rektor nomor 29/P/SK/2008 untuk mengatur Universitas Gadjah Mada sebagai Kawasan Bebas Rokok. Berdasarkan perilaku merokoknya, identitas mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik dibagi atas dua yaitu mahasiswa perokok dan mahasiswa non perokok. Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik kategori mahasiswa non perokok dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekonomi dan kesehatan dan kategori sebagai mahasiswa perokok dipengaruhi oleh meningkatkan pertemanan dan pergaulan yang dimiliknya. Kontrol mahasiswa terhadap mahasiswa perokok sangatlah lemah, mahasiswa non perokok tidak mengawasi mahasiswa perokok hanya untuk menghormati, menjaga pertemanan dan memiliki kepentingan-kepentingan tertentu yang dimilikinya,walaupun mereka mendapat gangguan asap dari mahasiswa perokok. Para dosen, karyawan dan pengurus fakultas di Fakultas tidak mampu berbuat apapun bahkan cenderung memaklumi atau pasrah terhadap perilaku merokok. Dalam memandang perilaku merokok di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik, mahasiswa memberikan respon tidak memihak, respon menerima dan respon menolak perilaku merokok yang tidak terkendali. Mahasiswa memberikan respon nmenerima terhadap perilaku merokok dikarenakan untuk mempertahankan hak-hak perokok, adanya pengawasan yang lemah terhadap perilaku merokok dan tidak adanya peraturan yang mengikat. Mahasiswa memberikan respon menolakmterhadap perilaku merokok dengan alasan fasilitas ditingkatkan, untuk menjaga kebersihan, untuk menjaga kesehatan dan diperlukannya peraturan yang tepat untuk mengarahkan perilaku merokok mahasiswa perokok. Mahasiswa mendapatkan pengaruh-pengaruh dari luar fakultas dalam memberikan respon tidak memihak terhadap perilaku merokok sehingga terkesan pasrah dan tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa dikarenakan mahasiswa merupakan pribadi yang sudah dewasa dan memiliki hak untuk mengarahkan dan membatasi perilakunya sendiri.

Sleman Regent Regulation no. 42 Chapter II, Article 3, paragraph 1 of 2012 describes a learning process such as the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Gadjah Mada is a No Smoking Area (KTR), followed by rector regulation number 29 / P / SK / 2008 for arranging the University of Gadjah Mada as a Non-Smoking Area.Based on the behavior of smoking, the identity of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Science is categorized in two category, namely student smokers and non-smoker students.Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Science student category of non-smokers are affected by economic factors and health, and the category as a student smokers is affected by increase their friendship and association.Control of students to student smokers is very weak, non smoker students do not supervise smoker students only to respecting them, maintain friendships, and has particular need, although they are being disturbed by the smoke of student smokers.The staff and administrators of the faculty in the Faculty of not being able to do anything even tend to tolerate or resigned to smoking behavior. In view of smoking behavior in the Faculty of Social and Political Science, students provide an neutral response, accepting response and rejecting response for smoking behavior. Students give accepting response for smoking behavior due to defending the rights of smokers, supervision is weak against smoking behavior and the lack of binding regulations. Students give a rejecting response the behavior of smoking by reason of improved facilities, to keep clean, to maintain health and the need for appropriate measures to direct the student smoking behaviour. Students get influences from outside the faculty in neutral response for smoking behavior, it impressed resigned and could not do anything because the student is an adult personally and have the right to direct and limiting their behaviour by themself.
