Relokasi Hiposenter Data Microearthquake (MEQ) Menggunakan Prinsip Double Difference (DD) untuk Identifikasi Struktur di Lapangan Panas Bumi Muaralaboh

Rekaman data microearthquake (MEQ) dari 2 kali survei yang dilakukan di Lapangan Panas Bumi Muaralaboh memperlihatkan persebaran event yang berbeda. Tujuan dari survei pertama adalah untuk melihat persebaran natural event dan survei kedua memperlihatkan persebaran event yang juga muncul akibat aktivitas pemboran. Survei pertama dilakukan pada pertengahan September 2010 sampai awal April 2011 dan survei kedua dilakukan pada pertengahan Oktober 2012 sampai akhir tahun 2013. Proses relokasi 2863 hiposenter menggunakan metode double difference dilakukan dengan iterasi sebanyak 7 kali hingga mencapai tingkat error sebesar 0,1 %. Hasil relokasi hiposenter dari survei pertama menunjukkan adanya struktur dengan arah timur-barat dan baratlaut-tenggara, sedangkan pada survei kedua persebaran hiposenter menunjukkan adanya kemenerusan event yang diduga struktur patahan yang berarah timur laut-barat daya. Struktur tersebut merupakan struktur baru yang mayoritas berada di kedalaman di bawah 4 kilometer dari permukaan .

Microearthquake (MEQ) data recording from two surveys at Muaralaboh Geothermal Field show different seismic characteristics. The first survey show a natural event dan the second survey show some events of drilling activity. Two surveys were run in midle of September 2010 until beginning of April 2011 and the second survey was in midle of October 2012 until end of 2013. Based on the set of 2863 event that have been relocated with ph2dt and further refined with HypoDD used 7th iteration and make 0.1% error. Hypocenter relocation from first survey show two fracture orientations east-west and northwest-southeast. The last surveys show a lineament fracture orientation predominantly northeast-southwest. The structure’s are a new structure that located in mayority the depth below of 4 km from surface of the earth.
