HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI TERHADAP MINAT IBU DALAM MEMBERIKAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI POSYANDU WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS GODEAN II

Pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bulan pertama dapat menurunkan risiko kematian akibat diare dan infeksi pernapasan akut. Bayi yang tidak mendapat ASI beresiko meninggal lebih tinggi dalam periode sesudah kelahiran daripada bayi yang mendapat ASI. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI Eksklusif yaitu faktor pendorong yang meliputi dukungan keluarga khususnya dukungan suami. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan suami terhadap minat ibu dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi target adalah seluruh pasangan suami istri yang memiliki bayi usia 0-6 bulan, populasi terjangkau adalah seluruh pasangan suami istri yang memiliki bayi usia 0-6 bulan di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Godean II pada bulan September 2015. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Exact Sig (Alfa=0,05) dan Coefficient Contingency. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan31 suami memberikan dukungan ASI eksklusif (70,5%) dan sebanyak 33 ibu minat memberikan ASI eksklusif (75%). Uji statistik Exact Sig sebesar 0,046 (p<0,05)nilai C= 0,302, sehingga terdapat hubungan dukungan suami terhadap minat ibu dalam memberikan ASI eksklusif dan terdapat hubungan yang cukup erat antara ke dua vairabel. Dukungan suami dapat mempengaruhi minat ibu memberikan ASI Eksklusif.

Exclusive breastfeeding for the first months can reduce the risk of infant mortality from diarrhea and acute respiratory. Babies who are not breastfed at risk of death is higher in the period after birth than babies who are breastfed. The factors that affecting exclusive breastfeeding is driving factors include family support, especially the husband support. The aim of this research to determine the relationship of husband support to the mother interest in exclusive breastfeeding. This research method using cross sectional design and purposive sampling. The population target is the entire couples with babies aged 0-6 months, while the affordable population is the entire couples with babies aged 0-6 months at Posyandu which Puskesmas Godean II in September 2015. The data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi-Square test (α=0,05) and Coefficient Contingency. The results showed 31 husband who provide support (70,5%) and 33 mothers interest in giving exclusive breastfeeding (75%). Statistical tests obtained Exact Sig = 0,046 (p<0,05), C= 0,302, so there is a relationship of husband support to the mother interest in giving exclusive breastfeeding, and there is a fairy close relationship between the two variables. Husband support can affect the mother interest in giving exclusive breastfeeding.
