Komposisi Ikan Hasil Tangkapan Jaring Insang Permukaan pada Shortening Berbeda di Waduk Sermo Kabupaten Kulon Progo

2015 | Skripsi | S1 MANAJEMEN SUMBER DAYA PERIKANANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi ikan hasil tangkapan jaring insang permukaan dan mengetahui perbedaan hasil tangkapan ikan pada berbagai ukuran shortening jaring insang baik dalam jumlah ekor maupun berat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2013 - Januari 2014 di Waduk Sermo Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian menggunakan jaring insang ukuran 2 inci dengan shortening 40%, 50%, 60%, dan 70%. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di 4 titik lokasi dengan 15 trip. Seluruh ikan yang tertangkap dihitung jumlahnya dan diukur panjang, berat, serta tinggi maksimal. Komposisi ikan, distribusi panjang dan berat ikan tertangkap dianalisis secara deskriptif. Uji Anova dilakukan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh ukuran shortening jaring terhadap jumlah tangkapan ikan (ekor) dan berat tangkapan ikan (gram). Komposisi hasil tangkapan jaring insang diperoleh 8 jenis ikan, yaitu Mujair (Oreochromis mossambicus) sebanyak 21,4% dengan panjang berkisar 11,6 - 19,5 cm ; Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) sebanyak 9,4% dengan panjang berkisar 11,2 - 17,2 cm ; Red Devil (Amphilophus labiatus) sebanyak 67,2% dengan panjang berkisar 7,1 - 18,4 cm ; Managuen sebanyak 1% dengan panjang berkisar 14 - 17 cm ; Betutu sebanyak 0,4% dengan panjang berkisar 16,5 - 19 cm ; dan Tawes, Lobster, Gabus masing - masing sebanyak 0,2% dari total hasil penangkapan. Ikan yang tertangkap pada jaring insang dengan shortening 70% didominasi oleh ukuran panjang 9,83 - 16,6 cm, pada shortening 60% didominasi ukuran panjang 10,3 - 18,4 cm, pada shortening 50% didominasi ukuran panjang 7,1 - 17,4 cm dan pada shortening 40% didominasi ukuran panjang 9,7 - 17,2 cm. Jaring insang dengan shortening 40% memiliki hasil tangkapan paling banyak dan dapat digunakan sebagai alernatif alat tangkap yang selektif.
The research aims to determinate the fish composition caught by gillnets and the difference of its various shortening sizes either its number and weight. This research conducted from September 2013 until January 2014 in Waduk Sermo, Kulon Progo. The researcher used gillnets in mesh size 2 inches which has shortening 40%, 50%, 60%, and 70%. Sampling was conducted at 4 points for 15 times of location visit. The amount of fish caught is calculated and its length, weight, and maximum height are measured. Then they were analyzed descriptively. Based on sampling, there were eight types fishes caught by gillnets, include Mujair (Oreochromis mossambicus) as much as 21,4% with a length ranging from 11,6 to 19,5 cm ; Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) as much as 9,4% with a length ranging from 11,2 to 17,2 cm ; Red Devil (Amphilophus labiatus) as much as 67,2% with a length ranging from 7,1 to 18,4 cm ; Managuen as much as 1% with a length ranging from 14 to 17 cm ; Betutu as much as 0,4% with a length ranging from 16,5 to 19 cm and Tawes, Lobster, and Gabus as much as 0,2% of the total fish catch. The fish were caught in gillnets with 70% shortening was dominated by the length of 9,83 to 16,6 cm ; at 60% shortening was dominated by the length of 10,3 to 18,4 cm ; at 50% shortening was dominated by the length of 7,1 to 17,4 cm and at 40% shortening was dominated by the length of 9,7 to 17,2 cm. Gillnets with shortening 40% has the most caught and can be used as an alternative selective fising gear.
