UNAMID (United Nation African Mission In Darfur) : Kerjasama PBB dan Uni Afrika Dalam Penyelesaian Konflik Darfur Tesis ini menganalisa kerjasama PBB dan Uni Afrika dalam penyelesaian konflik Darfur. Secara spesifik tesis ini melihat mengapa PBB meningkatkan kerjasamanya dengan Uni Afrika di Darfur, dilihat dari awal terbentuknya UNAMID, PBB berusaha terus meningkatkan mandat-mandatnya berdasarkan resolusi PBB. Penelitian ini juga melihat usaha-usaha PBB dalam meningkatkan kekuatannya dalam melindungi warga sipil, apa saja hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi PBB dan Uni Afrika dalam konflik ini serta dukungan dari pemerintahan Sudan itu sendiri. Dalam temuan penulis, PBB meningkatkan kerjasamanya dengan Uni Afrika disebabkan konflik yang sudah mengarah ke genosida, pelanggaran HAM, serta tidak hentinya serangan dari pemberontak yaitu Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) dan Sudanese Liberation Army/Movement (SLA/SLM) yang menyebabkan korban nyawa dan pengungsian besar-besaran. UNAMID semenjak berdiri yang mana mandat utama melindungi warga sipil serta memenuhi segala keperluan warga baik dari segi makanan, maupun obat-obatan bagi korban yang terluka. Dalam peningkatan kerjasama ini, PBB tidak lepas untuk meminta batuan kepada negara anggota dalam hal personil militer, persenjataan militer dalam menglindungi warga sipil, serta bantuan dana yang diperlukan untuk penjagaan tersebut. Ini semua tidak bisa berjalan dengan baik tanpa bantuan dari Pemerintahan Sudan itu sendiri, Pemerintahan Sudan yang harus lebih berperan dalam konflik ini disebabkan lebih mengetahui permasalahnya. UNAMID yang mandatnya hampir habis akhirnya diperpanjang sampai tahun 2016, dengan diperpanjangnya mandat ini, dan peningkatan yang selalu PBB dan Uni Afrika dalam kerjasamanya akan memberikan efek positif bagi Darfur menuju perdamaian

UNAMID (United Nations African Mission In Darfur): Cooperation Between UN and African Union in the resolution of the Darfur conflict This thesis analyzes the cooperation of the UN and the African Union in resolving the Darfur conflict. Specifically in this thesis discuss about the UN increase it is cooperation with the African Union in Darfur, seen from the initial formation of UNAMID, the UN continue to improve its mandate based on the UN resolutions. This thesis also saw UN efforts in improving its power to protect civilians, whatever the obstacles faced by the United Nations and the African Union in this conflict as well as the support of the Sudanese government itself. In the findings of this thesis, the UN increase its cooperation with the African Union due to the conflict that has led to genocide, human rights violations, and cease attacks from insurgents, namely the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) and the Sudanese Liberation Army / Movement (SLA / SLM) which led to loss of life and large-scale evacuation. UNAMID since the stand which primary mandate to protect civilians and fulfill all the needs of citizens in terms of both food, and medicines for the wounded. In this cooperation, the UN is not free to ask the rock to member countries in terms of military personnel, military weaponry in civilians, as well as the funding required for such maintenance. This all could not run properly without the assistance of the Government of Sudan itself, the Government of Sudan to be more involved in this conflict caused more aware problems. UNAMID whose mandate is running out eventually extended until 2016, with the extension of this mandate, and improvement is always UN and African Union in collaboration will provide positive effects for Darfur towards peace.
