KARAKTERISTIK TENAGA PENGAJAR DAN STATUS AKREDITASI PRODI KEPERAWATAN KOPERTIS WILAYAH V YOGYAKARTA

2015 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan MasyarakatLatar Belakang: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mengetahui faktor karakteristik dosen yang meliputi kualifikasi pendidikan, jabatan fungsional, sertifikasi,dan rasio dosen pada program studi keperawatan serta melihat sejauh mana tenaga pengajar memberikan kontribusi untuk memenuhi status akreditasi program studi keperawatan swasta di Yogyakarta. Metode : Analisis data kuantitatif rancangan cross secsional dengan analisis univariat. Kami menggunakan data dari bagian kepegawaian Kopertis wilayah V Yogyakarta tahun 2015. Responden kami adalah 333 tenaga pengajar pada prodi keperawatan yang sudah memiliki NIDN. Analisis kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara terhadap 4 prodi keperawatan. Hasil : Status akreditasi pada prodi Keperawatan swasta di Yogyakarta (40 % ) akreditasi B dan (60 %) prodi terakreditasi C. Lama berdirinya prodi D3 Keperawatan tidak menunjukkan bukti akreditasi yang lebih baik. Berdasarkan kualifikasi pendidikan tenaga pengajar yang memenuhi syarat sesuai standar Akreditasi B (35%), yang tidak memenuhi standar namun terakreditasi B (5%), pada variabel jabatan fungsional dan sertifikasi dosen tidak ada prodi yang memenuhi standar BAN PT. Rasio dosen pada prodi Keperawatan swasta masih belum ideal terbukti hanya 10% prodi keperawatan yang mempunyai rasio baik . Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara diperoleh bukti beberapa prodi keperawatan masih banyak menghadapi kendala dalam peningkatan kualitas SDM dan implementasi akreditasi. Kesimpulan : Status akreditasi prodi Keperawatan swasta di Yogyakarta masih rendah, tenaga pengajar dari Prodi Keperawatan juga masih belum memenuhi kualifikasi sesuai UU No.14 tahun 2005. Diperlukan komitmen yang kuat baik dari yayasan penyelenggara program studi maupun dari pemerintah untuk membina perguruan tinggi keperawatan swasta di Yogyakarta.
Background: This study aimed to describe and determine the characteristics of the lecturers that include educational qualifications, functional and certified lecturer in nursing studies program as well as the ratio of lecturers to the status of accreditation of private nursing in Yogyakarta. Methods: Secondary data analysis with cross secsional.We using data from the personnel department Kopertis V region of Yogyakarta in 2015. Our respondents are lecturer at the department of nursing who already have NIDN (registration number of national lecturer). The number of respondents was 333 lecturers. We used univariate analysis in this study. Qualitative analysis obtained from observations and interviews of four study programs in nursing. Result: The status of accreditation in private nursing studies program in Yogyakarta (40%) accreditated B and (60%) accredited C. Our respondents have educational qualifications S1 graduate nursing (48%), Magisters of Health (40%), Doctoral (0.30%), graduates from Diploma Nursing (3%) and graduates of non-health (8%). Position functional assistant expert ( 24%), Associate Professor (4%), associate professor (0.30%) and not having a functional position (72%). Lecturers are already certified (11%) and that has not been certified (89%). Length stand of Nursing program did`nt show evidence of accreditation better. Based on the educational qualifications of teachers who are eligible according to the standard Accreditation B (35%), which does not meet the standards yet accredited B (5%), the variable functional and no lecturer certification courses that meet the standards of BAN PT. The ratio of lecturers in private nursing study program is still not ideal. From observations and interviews obtained evidence several nursing program still face many obstacles in improving the quality of human resources and implementation of accreditation. Conclusion: The status of accreditation of private nursing in Yogyakarta is still low, faculty of Nursing Prodi also still don`t meet the qualifications in accordance with Law 14 of 2005. It takes a strong commitment from both the organizers foundation courses as well as from the government to build a private nursing college in Yogyakarta
