Hemangioma infantil dalam kurung HI adalah tumor vaskular benigna yang banyak ditemukan pada anak koma yang sampai saat ini patofisiologinya belum jelas diketahui titik Pada HI meskipun tidak membahayakan kehidupan dan terkadang terjadi regresi spontan koma namun kelainan ini mempunyai implikasi pada psikologis orang tua serta kosmetik anak titik Terapi topikal HI biasanya menggunakan kortikosteroid ultrapoten titik Namun dengan diketahuinya banyak efek samping kortikosteroid dan responnya yang kadang gagal koma perlu alternatif terapi topikal lain titik Solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen merupakan suatu beta bloker non selektif koma yang ternyata dapat menghambat proliferasi dan memicu regresi HI titik Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui evaluasi terapi kortikosteroid topikal ultrapoten dan solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen terhadap ukuran lesi hemangioma infantil superfisial titik Desain penelitian ini adalah kohort retrospektif koma melibatkan data 59 rekam medis dan fotografi dari pasien HI superfisial yang diterapi dengan kortikosteroid ultrapoten dan solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen dalam kurun waktu 2009 sampai 2014 di RSUP titik Dr titik Sardjito koma Yogyakarta titik Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbandingan selisih ukuran aksis terpanjang HI diantara kedua kelompok titik Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna dalam kurung kortikosteroid ultrapoten titik dua minus 2 koma 5 dalam kurung minus 8 koma 0 sampai 8 koma 0 solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen titik dua 2 koma 0 dalam kurung minus 2 koma 0 sampai 19 koma 0 titik koma p kurang dari 0 koma 001 titik Perbandingan selisih luas antara kedua kelompok juga didapatkan perbedaan yang bermakna dalam kurung kortikosteroid ultrapoten titik dua minus 19 koma 4 dalam kurung minus 65 koma 6 sampai 44 koma 6 titik koma solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen titik dua 19 koma 1 dalam kurung minus 67 koma 2 sampai 517 koma 4 titik koma p kurang dari 0 koma 001 titik Kesimpulan Solusio timolol maleat 0 koma 5 persen lebih baik dibandingkan kortikosteroid topikal ultrapoten terhadap pengurangan ukuran lesi hemangioma infantile superfisial.

Infantile hemangioma parenthesis IH is the most benign vascular tumor in children comma which pathophysiology is still not well understood dot However IH does not endanger the life and sometimes occur spontaneous regression comma these abnormalities have implications on psychological parents and child cosmetics dot Topical therapy for IH is usually used ultrapotent corticosteroids comma but with many known side effects of corticosteroids and its response to IH regression that is sometimes fail comma it need alternative other topical therapies dot Timolol maleat 0 dot 5 percent solution is a nonselective beta blocker that was found to inhibit proliferation and trigger regression IH dot The purpose of this study was to evaluate topical ultrapotent corticosteroids and timolol maleate 0 dot 5 percent solution therapy to superficial IH lesion size. The study design was a retrospective cohort, involving 59 medical records including photographic data from superficial IH patients treated with ultrapotent corticosteroids and timolol maleate 0 dot 5 percent solution in the period from 2009 to 2014 in Dr dot Sardjito General Hospital comma Yogyakarta dot The results show comparisons between length axis difference of IH between two groups had a significant difference parenthesis ultrapotent corticosteroids minus 2 dot 5 parenthesis minus 8 dot 0 to 8 dot 0 comma timolol maleate 0 dot 5 percent solution 2 dot 0 parenthesis minus 2 dot 0 to 19 dot 0 comma p less than 0 dot 001 dot Other wise width difference of IH between two groups also found a significant difference parenthesis ultrapotent corticosteroids minus 19 dot 4 parenthesis minus 65 dot 6 to 44 dot 6 comma timolol maleat 0 dot 5 percent solution 19 dot 1 parenthesis minus 67 dot 2 to 517 dot 4 comma p less than 0 dot 001 dot Conclusion Timolol maleat 0 dot 5 percent solution therapy was significantly superior as compare to topical ultrapotent corticosteroids on size reduction of superficial IH lesion dot
