ANALISIS MODEL RASCH PADA KEMAMPUAN SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM STATISTIK DESKRIPTIF

Tesis ini berisi perkembangan teori pengukuran hingga IRT model Rasch. Tesis ini membahas tentang bagaimana mengestimasi parameter pada IRT model Rasch menggunakan metode maximum likelihood estimation. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kemampuan peserta tes dalam statistik deskriptif dan tingkat kesukaran butir tes yang digunakan. Ada 331 peserta tes dan 10 butir tes dikotomi. Hasil analisis data IRT model Rasch dengan bantuan software BilogMG menyatakan bahwa kemampuan peserta tes berada pada tingkat memuaskan dan semua butir tes memiliki tingkat kesukaran baik, namun hanya butir tes 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, dan 10 yang dapat dijadikan koleksi bank soal sekolah. Oleh karena itu, para guru tetap perlu melakukan tindakan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta tes menjadi sangat memuaskan.

This thesis contains measurement theory development to IRT Rasch model. This thesis discusses parameter estimations of the IRT Rasch model using maximum likelihood estimation method. This thesis aims to determine the ability of elementary school students in descriptive statistics and difficulty level of items used. There are 331 participants and 10 dichotomy items. Data result analysis IRT Rasch model by using software BilogMG stated that the participant ability are in satisfactory level and all items have good level difficulty, but items 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10 which can be used as collection in school item bank. Therefore, teachers still need to take appropriate action to improve the ability of participant to be very satisfactory.
