TINJAUAN FILSAFAT PERENNIAL TERHADAP KONSEP KETUHANAN DALAM FILM PK

Penelitian ini berjudul "Tinjauan Filsafat Perennial terhadap Konsep Ketuhanan dalam Film PK ". Film PK merupakan karya Rajkumar Hirani. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi permasalahan realitas keberagamaan dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang seringkali menimbulkan konflik antar umat beragama. Agama seharusnya menjadi jalan untuk menuju suatu Realitas Absolut sehingga terciptalah suasana yang harmonis antara agama satu dan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian antara lain pertama ialah mengetahui konsep ketuhanan dalam film PK. Kedua, menganalisis tinjauan Filsafat Perennial terhadap konsep ketuhanan dalam film PK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutika filosofis. Sumber primer dan sekunder diteliti dengan menggunakan unsur-unsur metodis antara lain deskripsi, interpretasi, dan holistika. Objek material dalam penelitian adalah konsep ketuhanan dalam Film PK karya Rajkumar Hirani. Objek formal dalam penelitian adalah Filsafat Perennial. Hasil penelitian yang dicapai ialah: pertama, konsep ketuhanan dalam film PK menunjukkan kepercayaan manusia terhadap Tuhan mengalami perkembangan pemikiran dari waktu ke waktu. Terdapat dua konsep tentang Tuhan, yaitu: Tuhan yang menciptakan manusia dan Tuhan yang diciptakan oleh manusia. Kedua, tinjauan Filsafat Perennial terhadap konsep ketuhanan dalam film PK karya Rajkumar Hirani menunjukkan substansi agama yang berdimensi eksoterik dan esoterik, Realitas Ultim, dan pluralitas agama. Dimensi eksoterik merupakan aspek luar, bentuk formal, ritual, serta etika yang terdapat dalam agama. Dimensi esoterik merupakan esensi terdalam berupa pengalaman keIlahian (religious experience) yang dimiliki oleh setiap agama. Realitas Ultim ialah sumber kesejatian yang merupakan inti dari setiap tradisi. Pluralitas agama dalam film PK diceritakan melalui gambaran tiga agama dominan di India yaitu Hindu, Kristen, dan Islam.

This title of the research is "The Review of Perennial Philosophy in The Divineness conception in the PK movie". PK movie created by Rajkumar Hirani. This is based on the issues of religious reality that often lead to conflicts between religious communities. Religion should be a path to an Absolute Reality that creates a harmonious atmosphere between one religion and another. The aims of this research are to disclose The Divineness conception in the PK movie and analyzing the review of Perennial Philosophy in The Divineness conception in the PK movie. This is a library research using the philosophical hermeneutic method. Primary and secondary sources are studied using methodological steps such as description, interpretation, and holistic. Material object in this research is The Divineness conception in the PK movie by Rajkumar Hirani. Formal object in this research is Perennial Philosophy. The results of this research are achieved: first, The Divineness conception in PK movie shows that human trust in God experiencing the development of thinking from time to time. There are two concepts of God: The God that created human and The God that created by human. Second, the review of Perennial Philosophy of The Divineness in PK movie by Rajkumar Hirani shows the substance of religion that are exoteric and esoteric dimension; Ultimate Reality; and the reality of religious plurality. Exoteric dimension is an outer aspect, formal forms, rituals, and ethics contained in religion. Esoteric dimension is the deepest essence form which is religious experience of every religion. Ultimate Reality is the source of authenticity which is at the core of each tradition. The reality of religious plurality in the PK movie is told through a description of three dominant religions in India such as, Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam.
