Unsur-Unsur Intrinsik Cerpen al-Jarimah karya Zakariyya Tamir Analisis Struktural Robert Stanton

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur instrinsik cerpen al-Jarimah dalam antologi cerpen Rabi'u Fi ar-Ramad karya Zakariyya Tamir. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul, sudut pandang, dan ironi. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema cerpen ini adalah proses hukum yang tidak adil menimbulkan penderitaan rakyat. Tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Sulaiman al-Halabi yang dieksekusi tanpa pengadilan atas tuduhan pembunuhan terhadap Jenderal Kalibar. Tokoh tambahannya adalah Pria Hitam, Dua orang Pria, Bapak Tua, Perempuan Paruh Baya, dan Seorang Gadis. Cerpen ini memiliki alur maju atau progresif. Cerpen ini memiliki latar tempat, latar waktu, dan latar sosial. Latar tempatnya adalah tempat penangkapan Sulaiman, tempat rahasia, dan ruang eksekusi. Latar waktu, yaitu saat eksekusi berlangsung pada jam enam sore. Adapun latar sosialnya adalah kegiatan masyarakat kota yang sibuk dan modern. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Ironi yang terdapat dalam cerpen ini adalah keadilan rakyat kecil tidak dipedulikan oleh penegak hukum. Masing-masing unsur intrinsik cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story al-Jarimah in the anthology Rabi'u Fi ar-Ramad written by Zakariyya Tamir. The theory used in this study is structural theory of Robert Stanton. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of facts of the story; characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices which consist of title, point of view, and irony. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the theme of this short story is the injustice of law process caused the lower class suffering. The main character of this short story is Sulaiman al-Halabi who is executed without trial on murder chargers against General Kalibar. Additional figures are a black man, two men, an old man, a middle age woman, and a girl. The plot in this short story is progressive plot. This short story has setting of place, setting of time, and setting of social. The place setting are Sulaiman catching place, secret place, and the execution room, the time setting is six pm in the afternoon when the execution begin, the social setting is the activities of societies that are busy and modern. The point of view in this short story is third-person-omniscient. The irony that is contained in this short story is the lower classes justice was ignored by law enforcement. Every intrinsic elements in this short story has relations with each other thus together they form a whole meaning.
