ANALISIS PERMINTAAN TEPUNG TERIGU IMPOR DI INDONESIA

Tepung terigu telah menjadi komoditas pangan pokok kedua di Indonesia. Pemenuhan permintaan tepung terigu diperoleh dari produksi dalam negeri dan impor langsung. Namun, seluruh bahan baku industri tepung terigu Indonesia adalah hasil impor (food lease industry). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk (1) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan tepung terigu impor di Indonesia, (2) menganalisis trend dan melakukan peramalan permintaan tepung terigu impor di Indonesia selama delapan tahun ke depan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis ARIMA. Penelitan berdasarkan data pada tahun 1961 ���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½ 2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor ���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½ faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan tepung terigu impor adalah harga tepung terigu impor, nilai tukar rupiah, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), dan tingkat inflasi. Kecenderungan permintaan tepung terigu impor di Indonesia selama delapan tahun ke depan diperkirakan akan meningkat.

Wheat flour has become the second main food commodity in Indonesia. Wheat flour demand is fulfilled by producing wheat flour in the country or importing it from another country. But, all raw material of the wheat flour industry is imported. It is called food lease industry. The purpose of this research are (1) to find out the factors that affect the demand on wheat flour in Indonesia, (2) to analyze the trend and to forecast the demand in Indonesia for the next eight years. The data were analyzed by using the multiple linear regression analysis and ARIMA analysis method. The research was based on the data between 1961 ���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½ 2012. The result shows that the factors that affect wheat flour demand are the price of imported wheat flour, the exchange rate of rupiah, the gross domestic product, and the inflation. The trend of the wheat flour demand in Indonesia is predicted to increase during the next eight years.
