KEEFEKTIFAN KOMUNIKASI KELOMPOK TANI DALAM PROGRAM GERAKAN PENERAPAN PENGELOLAAN TANAMAN TERPADU DI KECAMATAN DLINGO KABUPATEN BANTUL

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Dlingo Kabupaten Bantul dengan tujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui tingkat keefektifan komunikasi kelompok tani dalam program GP-PTT kedelai, 2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi keefektifan komunikasi kelompok tani dalam program GP-PTT, dan 3) Mengetahui pengaruh keefektifan komunikasi terhadap motivasi petani dalam menjalankan program GP-PTT kedelai di Kecamatan Dlingo Kabupaten Bantul. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei, Pengambilan sampel desa dan gabungan kelompok (gapoktan) tani dilakukan secara proposif. Dari enam gapoktan di Kecamatan Dlingo diambil 2 gapoktan yang sudah melaksanakan rakitan budidaya kedelai hingga selesai dan untuk responden dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Kemudian dilakukan analisis uji proporsi untuk mengetahui tujuan pertama, untuk tujuan kedua menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan regresi linier sederhana untuk tujuan ke tiga. Indikator Keefektifan komunikasi diukur dengan menggunakan teori Tubbs dan Moss yaitu: pemahaman, kesenangan, memperbaiki hubungan, dan tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keefektifan komunikasi kelompok tani di Kecamatan Dlingo Kabupaten Bantul tergolong tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keefektifan komunikasi adalah : tingkat pendidikan petani, semakin tinggi pendidikan petani maka semakin tinggi pula keefektifan komunikasi kelompok tani; jenis kelamin petani, jenis kelamin perempuan memiliki tingkat keefektifan komunikasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan petani laki-laki; peran ketua kelompok, semakin tinggi peran ketua kelompok maka semakin tinggi pula keefektifan komunikasi kelompok tani. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan keefektifan komunikasi mempengaruhi motivasi petani dalam menjalankan program GP-PTT. Semakin tinggi keefektifan komunikasi maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi petani. Proses Komunikasi kelompok tani terkait program GP-PTT berjalan dengan baik.

This Recsearch was conducted in Dlingo sub-district Bantul District with the purpose: 1) To know the effectiveness of farmer group comunications in applications management integrated plant program at Dlingo sub-district Bantul District. 2) To know factors that was influence the effectiveness of farmer gruop comunications. 3) To know influence effectivenes of farmer group comunications for farmer motivations in doing GP-PTT program. Method was thad used in this research is descriptife method with survey technique. Taking village sample and group combination doing proprsively. From sixs combination group was taken by two combination group that have been done assemblies of soybeen cultivation until finish. Choosing respondence chosed with simple random sampling technique. And then doing analyze of proportion test is to know first purpose, for knowing second purpose use regretion of multiple linear, than to know third purpose use regretion of simple linear. The effectiveness of comunication measured use Tubs and Moss theory, they are: comprehension, pleasure, repair relations,and actions. The result of this research presented the effectiveness of communication that was high classified. The factors that was influenced the effectiveness of communication is : farmer education level, more high the farmer education level, so it also more high as the effectiveness of communication a farmer group. Farmer sex, girl farmer had more high effectiveness of communication than boy farmer. Role of leader farmer group, is more high role of farmer leader group so it also more high as the effectiveness of communication a farmer group. The result of research presented the eeffectiveness of communication that was influenced by farmer motivation in conducting GP-PTT program, is more high effectiveness of communication a farmer group so it also more high the farmer motivation. Comunication proses of farmer group connected with GP-PTT program goes on well.
