OVERHAUL ENGINE DIESEL TIPE ISUZU KAD

Mesin diesel adalah mesin yang mengubah panas menjadi energi mekanik. Ia bekerja dengan menggunakan metode kompresi udara. Memahami sistem kerja diesel penting. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perakitan simulator mesin yang biasa disebut disebut simulator mesin diesel. Dalam simulator ini menggunakan mesin diesel tipe Isuzu KAD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan perbaikan dan memecahkan masalah pada mesin Isuzu KAD. Ada beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh sumber data yang akurat, metode pertama adalah melakukan studi pustaka untuk mendapatkan beberapa teori yang mendukung proses perbaikan. Yang kedua adalah melakukan perbaikan yang terdiri dari, persiapan alat, pembongkaran dan perbaikan komponen mesin, mengukur dan memperbaiki semua bagian yang rusak. Langkah ketiga merakit dan memasang komponen mesin. Langkah terakhir yaitu dengan menguji mesin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin Isuzu KAD dapat berjalan normal dan memiliki kinerja yang baik. Dan kesimpulannya adalah bahwa langkah-langkah perbaikan mempengaruhi kinerja mesin.

Diesel engine is a heat burning machine which changes the heat into mechanical source. It works by using air compression method. Understanding the working system of diesel is important. Hence it is needed to assembly a machine simulator that is called by engine diesel trainer. Trainer is one part of the electrical system that plays an important role in electricity. In this trainer use engine diesel Isuzu KAD. The aim of the study is to conducting overhaul to solve problem in Isuzu KAD machine. There are several methods used to obtain the accurate data source, the first method is conducting library study to get some theories which support the overhaul process. The second is conducting overhaul which consist of, preparation of the tools, demolition and treatment of the machine components, measuring and changing all of the parts which were damaged. The third step are assembling and adjusting the machine components. The last step to test the engine. The result of the study shows that Isuzu KAD machine can run normally and have good performance. And the conclusion is that the steps of overhaul influence the performance of the machine.
