Kepemilikan hak atas tanah merupakan salah satu hak yang diperjuangkan oleh manusia dalam upaya memiliki penguasaan atas benda tak bergerak dalam rangka kepemilikan, penggunaan, serta kegiatan lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengubah data tabel tentang perkara pertanahan kedalam informasi visual berupa peta, dimana kepemilikan hak atas tanah tersebut seringkali menjadi permasalahan yang diangkat dalam perkara pertanahan. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini ialah dengan melakukan ploting pada tiap-tiap lokasi bidang tanah yang memiliki riwayat perkara, sehingga dapat diketahui lokasi dan jenis permasalahannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah peta persebaran perkara pertanahan hasil pengolahan laboratorium dengan informasi survei lapangan pada setiap lokasi bidang tanah yang teridentifikasi memiliki riwayat perkara pertanahan pada tahun 2014 dengan capaian informasi penggunaan lahan. Hasil pengembangan dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai media perbandingan tingkat sedikit-banyaknya setiap kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul memiliki bidang tanah dalam riwayat perkara pertanahan tahun 2014 dengan model Peta Chlorpleth atau penyajian informasi peta dengan warna gradasi/arsiran tua-muda, tebal-tipis warna yang digunakan. Dari penelitian ini mampu menghasilkan peta persebaran perkara pertanahan tahun 2014, peta jenis masalah yang terjadinya perkara-perkara tersebut, dan peta chloropleth jumlah perkara pertanahan serta informasi diagram perbandingan komposisi permasalahan disetiap wilayah.

Land ownership is one of the rights championed by humans in an effort to have possession of the immovable property in order of ownership, use, and other activities. The aim of this study is to change the data table on land matters into visual information in the form of a map, where land ownership is often the issues raised in the case of land. The method used for this study is to perform plotting at each location of parcels of land that have a history of the case, so as to know the location and type of problem. Results from this study is the matter of land distribution maps of laboratory results with information processing field surveys at each location identified plots of land have a history of the case in 2014 with the achievements of land use information. Development results from this study can be used as a medium for comparison the rate was more or less every district in Bantul have plots of land in the history of the case land in 2014 with a model Map Chlorpleth or presenting information map with color gradation / shading young and old, thick-thin color be used. From this study is able to produce a map of the distribution of land cases in 2014, maps the types of problems that the judge actions, and map chloropleth number of cases of land as well as information about the composition of the comparison charts the problems in each region.
