Perancangan Improvement Autohandling Mesin M-10 (Cooling Machine) dan Mesin M-11 (Three Direction Roughing Boring Machine) PT. Inti Ganda Perdana

Dalam dunia industri manufaktur, efisiensi merupakan faktor penting dalam menanggapi tantangan persaingan di era pasar bebas. PT. Inti Ganda Perdana yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan komponen otomotif berupa rear axle dan propeller shaft sedang mengembangkan kemampuan desain dan pengembangan produk serta operasional produksi yang diimbangi dengan efisiensi biaya. Banyaknya jumlah Man Power dan tingginya Labor Cost membuat PT. Inti Ganda Perdana harus melakukan efisiensi biaya yaitu dengan mengurangi Man Power dengan cara menghilangkan proses manual pada mesin M-10 (Cooling Machine) dan M-11 (Three direction Roughing Boring Machine) di Line Housing A. Pada kondisi existing tersebut membuat improvement perlu dilakukan. Improvement yang dilakukan adalah membuat perancangan autohandling dengan menggunakan software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014. Setelah dilakukan improvement terhadap mesin M-10 dan M-11 serta analisis dari hasil improvement diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa improvement yang dilakukan dapat menghilangkan Man power, sehingga dapat mengurangi biaya produksi. In the industry manufacturing, efficiency is an important factor in respond to the challenge competition in the free market area. PT. Inti Ganda Perdana is a company which work in automotive components production there are rear axle and propeller shaft which are developing design skills, product development, and production operation were offset by cost efficiency. Lots of Man Power and high of Labor Cost make PT. Inti Ganda Perdana should do the cost efficiency by reducing Man Power with eliminating manual processes on Machine M-10 (Cooling Machin) and M-11 (Three Direction Roughing Boring) in Line A. In that existing conditions for making improvement needs to be done. The improvement is make a design of autohandling by use software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014. After the improvement of Machine M-10 and M-11 and improvement analysis of the result obtained the conclusion that improvement is done to elimination Man Power, therefore can reduce the production cost.
