ANALISIS KERUSAKAN TRAVEL MOTOR PADA EXCAVATOR EX2500-6

Alat berat khususnya excavator menjadi salah satu alat pendukung pertambangan yang sangat penting pada proses produksi. Ketika proses produksi, bagian undercarriage, khususnya pada aktuator yaitu travel motor bekerja terus menerus selama proses untuk traveling. Hal ini tentunya akan menimbulkan masalah yang tidak dapat dihindari. Namun, masalah yang terjadi dapat diminimalisir dengan tindakan pencegahan dan perawatan. Adanya langkah-langkah pencegahan dan perawatan diharapkan dapat mempermudah mekanik dalam melakukan langkah pencegahan dan perawatan dalam komponen travel motor. Metode pertama yang digunakan dalam laporan ini adalah pemahaman literatur. Data yang diperoleh diambil dari pemahaman literatur yang mengacu pada masalah. Kedua, metode observasi. Metode ini diambil ketika melakukan praktek kerja industri. Metode terakhir adalah wawancara, dengan mengajukan pertanyaan tentang masalah-masalah yang sering terjadi di lapangan pada karawan yang berpengalaman di bidangnya. Masalah umum dalam travel motor seperti kebocoran eksternal, kebocoran internal dan kontaminasi dapat diminimalkan dengan tindakan pencegahan dan perawatan, mulai dari pemilihan oli yang tepat, preventive maintenance, dan pengoperasian unit dengan cara yang benar. Jika langkah-langkah pencegahan dan perawatan dilakukan dengan baik, tentu perbaikan pada komponen akan lebih mudah.

Heavy equipment especially excavator has become one of the most important mining support tools for the production process. During the productuin proscess, the undercarriage parts especially in the actuator travel motor is working continuously while the excavator traveling. it will certainly cause problems that can not be avoided. However, problems that occur can be minimized with preventive measures and treatment. The existence of preventive measures and treatments can be expected to facilitate the mechanics of doing preventive measures and treatment in travel motor component. The first method whish used in this report is the understanding of literature. The data obtained were taken from the literature that refers to the understanding of the problem. Second, was observation method. This method was taken when doing industrial practices. The last method was interview method, by asking questions about the problems that often occur inthe field with employees who are experts in the field. A common problem in the travel motors such as external leak, internal leak and contamination can be minimized with preventive measures and treatments, starting from the selection of the proper oil, preventive maintenance, and operation of the unit with the right way. If the preventive measures and treatments done well, certainly an improvement on the components will be easier.
