Perkembangan teknologi di bidang industri sekarang ini semakin pesat, dibutuhkan teknologi yang semakin canggih guna memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan manusia. Sistem kontrol digunakan untuk menunjang otomatisasi pada industri sehingga dapat menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang tinggi dengan waktu yang cepat. Training unit konveyor dapat digunakan untuk mensimulasikan sistem otomatisasi, salah satunya yaitu packaging product. Ada beberapa langkah yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir ini seperti mengumpulkan beberapa data yang terkait dengan tugas akhir ini, membuat program PLC, dan membuat rangkaian kelistrikan. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah training unit konveyor yang dapat digunakan untuk mensimulasikan packaging product dan dapat digunakan mahasiswa untuk mempelajari tentang sistem kontrol dan otomatisasi dengan mudah dan nyaman.

Nowadays, technological developments in the industry is growing rapidly, increasingly sophisticated technology needed to meet human needs. The control system is used to support the automation of the industry so that it can produce high quality products with a effective time. Training unit conveyor can be used to simulate the automation system, one of which is packaging product. There are some methods have been done to complete this final project such as collect some of the data related with this project, create the PLC program, and make a circuit (wiring). The final project result is training unit conveyor which can be used to simulate of packaging product and can be used by the students to learn about the control and automation system with easier and comfortable.
