UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK DALAM CERPEN "HUBBUN HATTA ATRAFI AL-ASABI DALAM ANTOLOGI HUBBUN HATTA ATRAFI AL-ASABI KARYA AHMAD AL-GARBAWI: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL STANTON

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur instrinsik cerpen "Hubbun Hatta Atrafi al-Asabi" dalam antologi cerpen Hubbun Hatta Atrafi al-Asabi karya Ahmad al-Garbawi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul, sudut pandang, gaya dan tone, dan ironi. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema cerpen ini adalahjangan biarkan masa depan hancur karena cinta. Tema pada cerpen ini tergambar jelas pada tokoh Ahmad, seorang pemuda yang menjadi depresi karena ditinggal kekasihnya yang tenggelam dan mati di sungai Nil. Cerpen ini memiliki alur kronologis, dan latar tempat berupa piramida Khufu, rumah Darwis, sebuah desa terpencil di Mesir, sebuah wilayah di ibukota, dan sebuah rumah sakit di Kairo. Latar waktunya adalah antara tahun 2000 dan juga latar malam hari, adapun latar sosialnya tidak disebutkan. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Masing-masing unsur intrinsik cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story "Hubbun Hatta Atrafi al-Asabi" in the anthology Hubbun Hatta Atrafi al-Asabi written by Ahmad Al-Garbawi. The theory used in this study is structural theory of Robert Stanton. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of facts of the story; characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices which consists of title, style and tone, and ironi. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the theme of this short story is never let love breaks future. The main character of this short story is Ahmad, a man that being depressed of the death of his beloved lady. The plot in this story is chronological plot. The place setting consists of Khufu pyramid, Darwis's house, a little village in Egypt, some region in capital city, and a hospital in Cairo. The time setting is at night during 20th century, while the social setting is not mentioned. The point of view in this short story is the third person-unlimited. Every intrinsic elements in this short story has relations with each other thus together they form a whole meaning.
