Proyek merupakan serangkaian aktivitas temporer dalam usaha melakukan dan mencapai tujuan unik, sedangkan manajemen proyek adalah sekelompok alat, proses dan sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten untuk mengerjakan aktivitas-aktivitas yang berkaitan dan berusaha untuk menggunakan sumber daya secara efektif unmtuk menyelesaikan proyek secara efisien dan tepat waktu. Proyek membutuhkan sumber daya dari berbagai area atau bidang, yang meliputi manusia, hardware, software dan asset lainnya yang bersifat sementara. Metode yang digunakan dalam manajemen proyek pembuatan dan instalasi support konveyor ini pertama, memilih tim proyek. Kedua menguji kelayakan layout menggunakan meteran. Ketiga membuat desain support konveyor menggunakan AutoCad 2010. Keempat penawaran dan memilih supplier. Kelima konstruksi dan instalasi. Keenam menjalankan alat. Dan yang terakhir adalah meninjau. Hasil dari aktivitas ini adalah bagaimana memilih tim proyek yang kompetitif, sehingga proyek dapat selesai tepat waktu. Dan merubah ketinggian dari support konveyor, sehingga mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Kemampuan pihak manajemen untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dengan adanya keterbatasan waktu, biaya dan ruang lingkup pekerjaan harus didukung oleh pemahaman mengenai manajemen proyek yang baik.

Project is a temporary activity in exertion for doing and reaching unique purpose, meanwhile project management is a group of equipment, process and human resource which is competitive for doing activities which related and try to use resource effectively for finishing project efficiently and on time. Project needs resources from various areas or sectors which includes human, hardware, software and another assets that have temporary. The methods which used in construction and installation conveyor support management project were first, selecting project team. The second was layout feasibility study by using gauge. The third was make conveyor support design by using AutoCad 2010. The fourth were tender and selecting supplier. The fifth was construction and installation. The sixth was running equipment. And the last was review. The result of this activity was how to choose project team which competitive, so the project can be finished on the time. And change the height of conveyor support, so can prevent the work accident. Management's ability to produce a quality product with the limited time, cost and scope of work should be supported by an understanding of good project management.
