PEMANFAATAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS UNTUK MENAMPILKAN POTENSI WILAYAH KABUPATEN DEMAK

Potensi yang terdapat pada sektor pariwisata, pertanian, peternakan, perikanan, dan industri dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perekonomian di Kabupaten Demak. Berbagai macam data terkait potensi wilayah Kabupaten Demak berupa data atribut ataupun data spasial perlu dikelola dengan baik dengan membuat suatu aplikasi sistem informasi geografis. Sistem informasi ini berbasis data spasial Kabupaten Demak yang dikelola menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGIS. Data atribut berupa data tentang informasi potensi pada sektor pariwisata, pertanian, peternakan, perikanan, dan industri kabupaten Demak dikelola dengan Ms. Access. Data tambahan berupa foto pada setiap sektor dikelola dalam format basis data digital dengan perangkat lunak Visual Studio 2012. Hasil akhir proyek ini adalah peta tematik dan aplikasi sistem informasi potensi wilayah Kabupaten Demak. Sistem informasi ini dapat menampilkan informasi spasial, atribut dan foto dari potensi wilayah Kabupaten Demak. Aplikasi ini tersedia banyak menu yang dapat digunakan dalam melakukan proses pencarian potensi daerah, penambahan data, dan editing data.

The District of Demak has many potentials, for example in tourism, agriculture, cattle breeding, fishery, and industry can contribute positively to the economy in Demak. Various data related to the potential Demak district in the form of a data attribute or spatial data needs to be managed properly to create a geographic information system applications. The information system is based on spatial data the district of Demak which are managed and processed using ArcGIS. The attribute data of the map are information of potencies in tourism, agriculture, cattle breeding, fishery and industry, these attribute data are managed and processed using Microsoft Access. The pictures for each sector as additional data are managed within a database using Visual Studio 2012. The final result of this thematic map and application is the information system for potency of Demak district. This information system has the ability to show spatial and attribute information of the potencies in Demak. This information system also provide to query the potency, add data and edit data stored within the database.
