Circuit Breaker atau sebagian besar orang lebih sering menyebutnya dangan PMT merupakan peralatan yang sangat penting bagi keandalan penyaluran energi listrik. PMT harus dapat memutus aliran arus beban suatu saluran baik dalam keadaan normal maupun ketika terjadi gangguan. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan pemeliharaan terhadap PMT baik secara mekanis maupun elektris. Salah satu pemeliharaan yang penting adalah pada bagian interrupter PMT. Pada bagian ini biasa dilakukan pemeliharaan yaitu pengujian tahanan kontak, pengujian tahanan isolasi dan pengujian keserempakan. Pengujian keserempakan mengukur seberapa cepat kontak PMT untuk open (trip) maupun close dan juga selisih waktu kerja kontak. Ini merupakan salah satu pemeliharaan yang penting dilakukan pada interrupter PMT. Kerja kontak PMT pada setiap fasanya tidak boleh memiliki perbedaan waktu yang besar. Apabila kontak PMT menutup dengan tidak serempak maka bisa menyebabkan peralatan yang terhubung dengan PMT menjadi rusak akibat adanya lonjakan arus maupun tegangan. Pada laporan Proyek Akhir ini, penulis akan sedikit membahas mengenai pengujian pada interrupter PMT. Kemudian lebih spesifik lagi akan diambil pokok bahasan mengenai prosedur kerja pengujian keserempakan PMT. Pengujian dilakukan pada PMT single pole 70 kV bay Arjawinangun II di Gardu Induk Sunyaragi PT PLN (Persero) P3B Jawa Bali APP Cirebon.

Circuit Breaker or most of the people more often call it with PMT is the equipment is very important for the reliability of the distribution of electrical energy. PMT should be able to disconnect the current flow load a channel well under normal circumstances as well as when there are disruptions. So, the maintenance needs to be done over the PMT good mechanically as well as electrical. One of the important maintenance is on the part interrupter of PMT. In this part, the regular maintenance is testing the prisoner contacts, testing prisoners of isolation and testing the synchronization. Testing the synchronization measure how fast contact pmt to open (trip) or close and also the difference in working time contact. This is one of the important maintenance performed on interrupter of PMT. The contact of PMT works on each phase should not have any different in a long time. If the contact of PMT close not sycnchronally, then could be caused the equipment which connected to the PMT become damaged due to surges of current or voltage. In this paper, the author will explain about testing on the interrupter of PMT. Then more specifically to be taken of basic subjects about work procedures of testing the synchronization of PMT. The testing works on PMT single pole 70 kV bay Arjawinangun II PT PLN (Persero) P3B Jawa Bali APP Cirebon.
