KUALITAS AIR PADA PEMELIHARAAN LELE DUMBO (Clarias gariepinus) DENGAN KEDALAMAN DAN PADAT TEBAR TINGGI

2015 | Skripsi | S1 BUDIDAYA PERIKANANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat tebar benih lele dumbo terhadap kualitas air kolam dan pengaruh padat tebar benih lele dumbo terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan, percobaan ini dilakukan di luar ruangan (Stasiun Kolam Fakultas Pertanian Jurusan Perikanan Universitas Gadjah Mada). Lele dipelihara selama 42 hari dalam base beton berbentuk lingkaran dengan diameter 80 cm, ketinggian air 150 cm dan padat tebar 400 ekor/m3, 500 ekor/m3, dan 600 ekor/m3. Benih lele yang ditebar mempunyai ukuran 5-7 cm. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan metode percobaan (experimental) yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan masing masing perlakuan mempunyai 3 ulangan. Benih lele yang digunakan dalam penelitian berasal dari kecamatan Cangkringan, benih di aklimatisasi selama 3 hari kemudian di adaptasi selama 1 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perbedaan padat tebar tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap suhu air (permukaan dan dasar kolam), kekeruhan air (permukaan dan dasar kolam), amoniak air (permukaan dan dasar kolam), sulfat air (permukaan kolam), oksigen terlarut (dasar kolam), karbondioksida bebas (permukaan dan dasar kolam), alkalinitas (permukaan dan dasar kolam), pH (permukaan dan dasar kolam), bahan organik (dasar kolam), sintasan dan pertumbuhan berat mutlak, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap sulfat (dasar kolam), oksigen terlarut (permukaan kolam), dan bahan organik (permukaan kolam). Padat tebar yang semakin tinggi mengakibatkan kekeruhan air meningkat, penurunan jumlah konsentrasi oksigen terlarut di dalam perairan serta meningkatkan jumlah amoniak yang bersifat toksik bagi ikan.
The research aimed to know the effect of seed African catfish stocking density on the pond water quality and the influence of African catfish seed stocking density on survival and growth, The experiment was conducted outdoors (Ponds Station Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries, University of Gadjah Mada). Catfish were cultured during 42 days on a concrete base form circle 80 cm with a water height 150 cm and stocking density of 400 fish / m3, stocking density of 500 fish / m3, stocking density of 600 fish / m3. Catfish seed was culture has size 5-7 cm. The research used completely randomized design with experimental methods consist of 3 treatments and each treatment has triplicate. Catfish seed used in the research was taken from Cangkringan District, Catfish seeds were acclimatization for 3 days later and then adapted for 1 week. The results showed that differences of stocking density did not significantly affect the water temperature (contain surface and bottom of the ponds), water turbidity (contain surface and the bottom of the ponds), ammonia (contain surface and bottom of the ponds), sulfate (contain surface of the ponds), dissolved oxygen (contain bottom of the ponds), carbon dioxide (contain surface and bottom of the ponds), alkalinity (contain surface and bottom of the ponds), pH (contain surface and bottom of the ponds), organic matter (contain bottom of the pool), survival and absolute weight growth of fish, however significantly on sulfate (contain bottom of the ponds), dissolved oxygen (contain surface of the ponds), and organic materials (contain surface of the ponds). The more High stocking densities caused increased water turbidity, decrease the amount of dissolved oxygen concentration in the water and increase the amount of ammonia that are toxic to fishs.
