PENGARUH KOMBINASI SUHU DAN AERASI TERHADAP SINTASAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN BENIH GURAMI (Osphronemus goramy) PADA TAHAP PENDEDERAN PERTAMA UMUR 7-49 HARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh serta mendapatkan kombinasi aerasi dan suhu air terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih gurami pada tahap pendederan pertama. Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium menggunakan metode faktorial acak lengkap 2x2+kontrol, yang terdiri dari kombinasi suhu 30°C dengan aerasi 2 L/menit dan aerasi 3 L/menit serta kombinasi antara suhu 34°C dengan aerasi 2 L/menit dan aerasi 3 L/menit, setiap perlakuan dilakukan tiga kali ulangan. Benih gurami berumur 7 hari dengan panjang 0,863 cm dan berat 0,011 gram dipelihara dalam akuarium berkukuran 40x50x60 cm selama 49 hari. Data yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan panjang, lebar, berat, sintasan dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan panjang, lebar dan berat benih gurami pada perlakuan kombinasi suhu dan aerasi lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan kontrol, meskipun sintasan benih gurami pada perlakuan kombinasi lebih rendah bila dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Perlakuan kombinasi suhu dan aerasi tidak menunjukkan adanya beda nyata pertumbuhan dan sintasan antar perlakuan. Kata kunci : Aerasi, gurami, pertumbuhan, sintasan, suhu.

The aims of study were to determine the effect and to get a combination of aeration and water temperature on the growth and survival of giant gouramy fry at the first nursery stage (7-49 days). The experiment was conducted at laboratory under a completely randomized factorial design 2x2+control. The treatments were consisted of combination of temperature of 30°C with aeration 2 L/minutes and aeration 3 L/minutes, and a combination of temperature 34°C with aeration 2 L/minutes and aeration 3 L/minutes, each treatment was conducted three replications. The 7 days old of the giant gouramy with average of 0.863 cm length and 0.011 gram weight were put in the aquarium 40x50x60 cm for 49 days. The length, width, weight, mortality and water quality were observed during experiments. The result of study showed that length, width and weight growth of combination of temperature and aeration treatments were higher than control, however the survaival rate is less than control. Combination of temperature and aeration treatments didn't show significant different on growth and survival. Keywords: Aeration, giant gouramy, growth, survival rate, temperature.
