Dalam dunia industri modern, otomasi sistem kontrol semakin meningkat dan terus berkembang. Sistem kontrol industri dimana peranan manusia masih amat dominan misalnya dalam merespon besaran-besaran proses yang diukur oleh sistem kontrol tersebut dengan serangkaian langkah berupa pengaturan panel dan saklarsaklar yang relevan telah banyak digeser dan digantikan oleh sistem kontrol otomatis. PT.HM Sampoerna adalah perusahaan rokok, pada primary proses pembuatan rokok sudah menggunakan kendali otomatis menggunakan PLC sebagai unit kendali proses yang terintegrasi dengan HMI, proses utama pembutan rokok memiliki 5 tahapan salah satunya adalah proses casing dan flavor. pembuatan sistem kendali otomatis bertujuan untuk memudahkan operator dalam mengoperasikan mesin pada proses casing dan flavor.

Industrial control systems where humans role are still very dominant for example in response to the process quantities measured by the control system with a series of steps such as setting panel and relevant switches have many moved and replaced by automatic control systems . PT.HM Sampoerna is a cigarette company , the primary cigarette manufacturing process already used automatic control using PLC as the control unit is already integrated with the HMI, The main cigarette manufacturing process has 5 stages one of which is the process of casing and flavor . manufacture of automatic control system aims to facilitate the operator to operate the machine at casing and flavor process .
