Alat Ukur Ketinggian Objek Menggunakan Sensor Potensiometer dengan Berbasis Mikrokontroler

Telah dibuat dan diimplementasikan alat ukur tinggi objek untuk mengukur tinggi suatu objek. Alat tersebut mampu mengukur ketinggian suatu objek yang sulit diukur secara langsung oleh manusia. Sistem yang digunakan pada alat ini memanfaatkan fungsi trigonometri untuk menghitung ketinggian objek yang diambil dari data sensor. Sensor yang digunakan adalah dua buah sensor potensiometer untuk mengambil sudut elevasi alfa (puncak objek) dan beta (pangkal objek), dan sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur ketinggian alat. Data yang diperoleh dari ketiga sensor diolah oleh mikrokontroler Atmega 32. Hasil dari pemanfaatan fungsi trigonometri, alat ini hanya dapat mengukur pada bidang yang datar terhadap objek. Tingkat keakuratan hasil pengukuran tinggi objek sebesar 99,56% dengan resolusi sebesar 0.01 m pada rentang ukur 0,67 m - 4,50 m. Selain tinggi objek, alat ini dapat mengukur jarak objek dengan tingkat keakuratan pengukuran sebesar 99,60%. Kemampuan maksimal alat ini dapat mengukur pada 70 derajat untuk sudut alfa, dan 50 derajat untuk sudut beta.

Measuring Tool Height of the Object Using Censor Potentiometer with Based Mikrokontroler has been done. The tool is able to measure the altitude of an object that is difficult to measure directly by humans. The system used in this tool utilizes trigonometric functions to calculate the height of objects taken from the sensor data. The sensor used is two potentiometer sensor to take elevation angle alpha (peak object) and beta (base object), and the ultrasonic sensors to measure the height of the tool. Data obtained from the three sensors is processed by a microcontroller Atmega 32. Results from the use of trigonometric functions, this tool can only measure in the field of flat objects. A high level of accuracy of the results of measurement objects at 99.48% with an accuracy of 0.01 m at a measuring range of 0.67 m - 4.50 m. In addition to the object height, this tool can measure the distance of an object by measuring the level accuracy of 99.28%. The maximum capabilities of this tool can measure at 70 degree for angle alpha, and 50 degree for the angle beta.
