Production Process of Radio Gelap Program in Geronimo Radio

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembuatan program khusus Radio Gelap di salah satu radio lokal di Yogyakarta yaitu Radio Geronimo, meliputi pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Selanjutnya, tugas akhir ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi mahasiswa, terutama mahasiswa Program Studi Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada yang mengambil konsentrasi media dalam menyediakan tambahan informasi tentang pembuatan salah satu program di radio lokal. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan praktek langsung. Penulis mengikuti magang selama 3 bulan dari bulan Februari-April 2015 agar lebih memahami tahapan-tahapan dalam memproduksi program di radio. Wawancara dengan penyiar dan staf dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang proses produksi. Data dikumpulkan dari internet, artikel, beberapa buku, dan sumber lainnya untuk lebih memahami tentang proses produksi program di radio. Radio Gelap menjadi salah satu program populer di Geronimo yang menarik banyak pendengar setia dan pendengar baru. Dalam membuat program, Geronimo mengunakan beberapa aspek yang dijelaskan oleh Morissan dalam teorinya, contohnya semua unit dalam memproduksi sebuah program dibutuhkan untuk bekerja sama menghasilkan program yang menakjubkan. Hal tersebut termasuk dalam proses yang dipakai di program Radio Gelap.

This graduating paper aims to explain about the process of making Radio Gelap program in a local radio in Yogyakarta, Geronimo Radio, such as pre-production, production, and post production. Furthermore, this final paper is expected to give a contribution to the college student, especially the students of English Department in the Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada with Media concentration to provide more information about producing process a program in a local radio station. The methods of collecting data is divided into observation, interview, and library research. The writer got involved in internship for three months from February- April 2015 to understand more about producing process of program in radio. Interview with the announcers and crews had been done to know about producing process of the program. Data was compiled from internet, articles, some books and other resources to understand more about producing a program in radio. Radio Gelap became one of popular program in Geronimo Radio which attract many loyal listeners and new listeners. In creating the program, Geronimo Radio used some aspects explained by Morissan in his theory, for example all units in production of a program needed to work together in creating the amazing program. It includes the process provided in Radio Gelap program.
