PEMASANGAN AC PADA TRAINER KIJANG 5K

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini berkembang begitu pesat. AC sebagai salah satu produk teknologi saat ini semakin sering digunakan karena makin meningkatnya suhu udara memaksa manusia menyesuaikan diri dengan keadaan.AC tidak hanya dipasang dalam ruangan namun juga pada kendaraan karena semakin banyak waktu yang dihabiskan manusia dalam kendaraannya. Sebagai mahasiswa D3 Teknik Mesin, harus bisa memahami dan mampu memasang AC khususnya pada kendaraaan. Teori yang diajarkan harus dipraktikkan secara langsung. Sebelum memasang secara langsung pada kendaraan, mahasiswa dapat mempraktikkannya terlebih dahulu pada mesin trainer yang disediakan pihak universitas. Untuk itulah, laporan tugas akhir ini dibuat dengan tujuan membuat Air Conditioner (AC) pada trainer Kijang 5K agar dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Laporan tugas akhir ini merupakan laporan eksperimental. Data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil praktik langsung penulis dengan mengacu pada buku-buku panduan dan literatur. Obyek tugas akhir ini adalah trainer kijang 5K. Cara kerja dari pembuatan AC pada trainer kijang 5K ini adalah dengan memasang komponen-komponen AC kemudian mengetes kebocoran pada system AC tersebut. Setelah dipastikan tidak ada kebocoran, dilanjutkan dengan pengisian refrigerant. Terakhir mengetes temperatur yang dihasilkan oleh evaporator. Setelah dilakukan pemasangan AC pada trainer kijang 5K, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa temperature yang dihasilkan oleh evaporator sebesar 10 derajat C. Temperatur sebesar itu sudah masuk dalam kategori optimal menurut manual book kijang 5K

Nowadays the development of the technology is growing rapidly. AC as a product of the technology is used more and more because the increasing temperature forces the human to get good adaptation for the condition. AC is not only used in the room but also in the vehicle because the human's mobilization increases rapidly. They spend more time in their vehicles. As a student of Mechanical Engineering, we have to understand and able to set AC especially in the vehicles. The theory has to be practiced directly. Before set the AC in the vehicle directly, the student can practice using trainer engine first. For that reason, this paper is made. The goal is for made the Air Conditioner (AC) at a trainer engine of Kijang 5K. Next time, the writer hope this trainer can be used for teaching media. This paper is an experimental paper. The data is got from a practice that was done by the writer and also based on the literature book. The object is trainer engine of Kijang 5K. The ways to make this experiment are first writer sets the components of the AC. Then, the writer checks the leakage. After that, the writer fills the system with refrigerant. The last is checking the temperature gained by the evaporator. Based on the experiment the writer can conclude that the temperature gained by the evaporator is 10 degree C. This temperature include in an optimal temperature based on manual book Kijang 5K
