PENGARUH KEMISKINAN KEPALA KELUARGA TERHADAP TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI DESA SEGAYAM KECAMATAN GELUMBANG KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM SUMATERA SELATAN

Jumlah penduduk yang banyak dengan jumlah total 4.301 jiwa sedangkan tingkat pendidikan anak usia sekolah masih rendah dengan jumlah 102 orang putus sekolah serta jumlah kemiskinan 517 KK membuat peneliti tertarik meneliti daerah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh pendapatan terhadap pendidikan anak, pengaruh jumlaha anggota kelurga terhadap pendidikan anak, pengaruh aset terhadap pendidikan anak serta faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi rendahnya pendidikan anak di Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode sensus dimana seluruh anggota populasi sebanyak 102 dijadikan sampel. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh KK rumah tangga miskin yang mempunyai anak usia sekolah. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode tabulasi silang kemudian dianalisis dengan chi square. Variabel kemiskinan terdiri dari jumlah pendapatan, jumlah anggota keluarga, aset (tanah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pendiidkan anak di Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Maura Enim dengan nilai chi square Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) sebesar 0,00. Jumalah anggota keluarga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak di Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Maura Enim dengan nilai chi square Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) sebesar 0,00. Aset berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak anak di Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Maura Enim dengan nilai chi square Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) sebesar 0,13. Faktor yang dominan mempengaruhi rendahnya tingkat pendidikan anak disebabkan oleh pendapatan.

The reaserch using qantitatif methods and qualitatif methods. This reaserch census method, where the all the members population sampled. How to analyze the data using cross tabulation method and then analyzed by chi square. Variable consists of the sum of income poverty, number of family and assets. The reaserch aims to describe incam the effect significant in the level of education children in the village Segayam sub district Gelumbang district of Muara Enim with chi square Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) value of 0,00. The reaserch aims to describe number of family members the effect significant in the level of education children in the district Segayam sub district Gelumbang district of Muara Enim with chi square Asymp. The reaserch aims to describe assets the effect significant in the level of education children in the village Segayam sub district Gelumbang district of Muara Enim with chi square Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) value of 0,013. The dominant factor affecting the level of education of children caused by incam family. In addition there are also other causes in the levels of education children is due to environmental influences and low motivation of parents and children to school.
