Peran Work Locus Of Control dan Persepsi Keadilan Organisasi Terhadap Job Insecurity

Tuntutan persaingan bisnis yang ketat menuntut organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja melalui pengelolaan organisasi yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan organisasi adalah penggunaan karyawan kontrak sebagai bagian pendukung kegiatan organisasi. Status sebagai karyawan kontrak menimbulkan rasa ketidakpastian atas keberlangsungan pekerjaan bagi karyawan. Ketika karyawan merasakan ketidakpastian dan melihatnya sebagai ancaman terkait pekerjaannya, karyawan cenderung mengalami job insecurity. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran work locus of control eksternal dan persepsi keadilan organisasi terhadap job insecurity ada karyawan kontrak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menyebar kuesioner. Sebanyak 101 subjek merupakan karyawan kontrak yang bekerja di PT XYZ yang berderak dibidang perbankan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa secara hanya variabel work locus of controlyang memiliki peran dalam memprediksi tingkat job insecurity pada karyawan kontrak dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 9,5%. Sedangkan Persepsi keadilan organisasi tidak berperan dalam memprediksi job insecurity pada karyawan kontrak.

The demand of tight business competition demands the organization to improve its performance through a more effective and efficient organization management. One of efforts conducted by the organization is the use of contracted employee as the support of organization activities. Status as contracted employee generates uncertainty on the job sustainability for employee. When the employee feels uncertainty and sees it as a threat to his job, the employee tends to have job insecurity. This research objectives were to learn the role of external locus of control and perception of organizational justice on job insecurity in contracted employee. Research method used was quantitative method by distributing questionnaires. Amounted to 101 subjects were contracted employees worked at PT XYZ which engaged in banking field. Data analysis was conducted by using double regression method. Result of the research discovered that only work locus of control that had a role in predicting job insecurity level at contracted employees with effective donation was by 9,5%. Whereas, perception of organizational justice did not have any roles in predicting job insecurity in contracted employees.
