PRARANCANGAN PABRIK STYRENE DARI ETHYLBENZNE DENGAN KAPASITAS 300.000 TON/ TAHUN

Pabrik styrene monomer dari ethylbenzene ini dirancang dengan kapasitas 300.000 ton/tahun. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kemurnian 99,96 % berat. Pabrik beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun. Bahan baku pabrik ini adalah ethylbenzene dengan kemurnian 99,52% berat, dengan bahan pembantu shell 105 (87,9% Fe2O3, 2,5% Cr2O3, 9,6% K2CO3) sebagai katalisator dan para-tertiary-butylcatechol sebagai inhibitor proses polimerisasi styrene. Reaksi dehirogenasi ethylbenzene berlangsung secara adiabatis pada suhu 600 °C dengan tekanan 3 atm dalam reaktor multi bed dengan konversi etyhlbenzene terhadap styrene sebesar 49,81 %. Pabrik ini direncanakan akan didirikan di daerah Merak, Jawa Barat dengan luas tanah 93.800 m2 dan akan mempekerjakan 357 karyawan. Kebutuhan bahan baku eythylbenzene sebanyak 379.914,58 ton/tahun, bahan pemantu berupa katalis shell 105 sebanyak 266,25 ton dan para-tertiary-butylcatechol sebanyak 3,80 ton/tahun. Kebutuhan utilitas berupa air sebanyak 8.393.939 ton/tahun, steam sebanyak 1.906.995,26 ton/tahun, kebutuhan fuel oil sebanyak 173.059,05 ton/tahun dan kebutuhan listrik sebesar 4,195 MW. Modal tetap yang diperlukan sebesar Rp 117.806.828.052 dan US$ 55,673,999. Modal kerja yang diperlukan Rp 16.559.528.531 dan US$ 122,324,365. Laba sebelum pajak sebesar Rp 227.308.684.349/tahun dan laba setelah pajak adalah Rp 113.654.342.174/tahun. Dari hasil perhitungan kelayakan ekonomi diperoleh ROI sebelum pajak sebesar 34,29%, ROI setelah pajak sebesar 17,15%, POT sebelum pajak 2,26 tahun, POT setelah pajak 3,68 tahun, BEP sebesar 55,31%, SDP sebesar 35,67%, dan nilai DCFRR sebesar 22,00%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan evaluasi ekonomi tersebut maka pabrik styrene monomer dengan kapasitas 300.000 ton/tahun ini layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut. Styrene monomer from ethylbenzene factory is designed with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes every year. The resulting product had a purity of 99.96% by weight. The factory operates for 330 days every year. The raw material of this factory is ethylbenzene with purity 99.52% by weight, with supporting material shell 105 (87.9% Fe2O3, 2.5% Cr2O3, 9.6% K2CO3) as a catalyst and para-tertiary-butylcatechol as inhibitor of the polymerization process styrene. The reaction takes place in an adiabatic dehirogenasi ethylbenzene at a temperature of 600 ° C with a pressure of 3 atm in a multi-bed reactor with etyhlbenzene conversion to styrene at 49.81%. Necessary fixed capital of Rp 117.806.828.052 and $ 55,673,999. The necessary working capital to Rp 16.559.528.531 and $ 122,324,365. Profit before tax of Rp 227.308.684.349 every year and profit after tax was Rp 113.654.342.174 every year. From the calculation of the economic feasibility of the Return Of Investment (ROI) obtained before tax of 34.29%, ROI after tax of 17.15%, POT before tax of 2.26 years, 3.68 years POT after tax, amounted to 55.31% of BEP, the SDP by 35,67%, and Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return (DCFRR) value of 22.00%.
