Penularan ibu ke anak dari infeksi HIV adalah penyebab utama kematian pada anak-anak . Di Indonesia,prevalensi penularan ibu ke anak dari tingkat infeksi HIV terus meningkat. Sel CD4 pada saat pertama mendiagnosis untuk anak-anak HIV adalah penting untuk menentukan pengobatan dan prognosis. Sel CD4 tingkat yang berbeda berdasarkan usia dan dapat dipengaruhi dari faktor risiko relatif kecil.

Mother to child transmission of HIV infection is the leading cause of death in children. In Indonesia, the prevalence of mother to child transmission of HIV infection rates continue rise. CD4 cells in the first diagnose for HIV children is important to decide the treatment and prognosis. CD4 cells level different based on age and it can be affected from the deferent risk factors
