HUBUNGAN RIWAYAT ATOPI DENGAN SENSITISASI KUTU DEBU RUMAH PADA ANAK

Latar Belakang: Kutu debu rumah merupakan alergen indikator yang memiliki prevalensi terbesar dan semakin meningkat beberapa dekade terakhir. Kutu debu rumah juga merupakan salah satu aeroalergen yang paling penting berhubungan dengan penyakit alergi. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara riwayat atopi dengan sensitisasi kutu rumah pada anak. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian potong lintang. Subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak berusia 2-12 tahun yang bersekolah di TK dan SD di Yogyakarta. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa dari 79 subjek penelitian, hanya 11 subjek (13,9%) yang terdeteksi riwayat atopi tinggi sedang dan memiliki sensitisasi kutu debu rumah, 4 subjek (5,1%) terdeteksi riwayat atopi ringan dan memiliki sensitisasi kutu debu rumah. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara riwayat atopi dengan sensitisasi kutu debu rumah pada anak (P = 0,567). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara riwayat atopi dengan sensitisasi kutu debu rumah pada anak.

Background:House dust mite is an indication of allergen which has the biggest prevalence and tends to increase in the recent decade. It is one of important aero-allergen in terms of allergic disease. Objective: To know about the correlation between the history of atopy with sensitization house dust mite in children. Method:The study design use cross-sectional study. The subjects are children aged 2-12 years old who attended kindergarten and elementary school in Yogyakarta. Result:A number of the 79 study subjects shows only 11 subjects (13,9%) were detected history of atopy medium height and had a house dust mite sensitization, 4 subjects (5,1%) were detected history of atopy light and had a house dust mite sensitization. This result is declared and suspected of having high and moderate history of atopy, with a value of (p=0,567). Conclusion:There is no correlation between the history of atopy with the house dust mite sensitization in children.
