Prototipe Penghitung Pemakaian Listrik Pada Kamar Kos Berbasis Arduino Uno

Saat ini teknologi sudah diciptakan dan dikembangkan begitu pesat dengan tujuan untuk meringankan pekerjaan manusia, salah satunya pada teknologi kontrol. Alat ini dibuat untuk mengurangi resiko kesewenang-wenangan pemilik kos-kosan dalam menentukan pembayaran pemakaian listrik. Faktanya, mayoritas pemilik kos-kosan saat ini kebanyakan mematok harga bayar pemakaian listrik per barang elektronika seperti komputer, televisi, setrika, rice cooker, dan alat elektronika yang memiliki daya cukup tinggi. Padahal intensitas pemakaian tiap penghuni berbeda-beda. Arduino Uno digunakan sebagai sistem otak pada alat ini. Kelebihan dari Arduino adalah mempunyai bahasa pemrograman sendiri, yaitu bahasa C yang telah dipermudah dengan fungsi-fungsi sederhana. Arduino Uno dilengkapi dengan downloader sehingga memudahkan pengguna untuk melakukan upload program dari PC ke Arduino Uno. Pada Arduino akan tersambung LCD, Sensor arus, serta Matriks keypad sebagai sistem pada alat ini yang nantinya perhitungan pemakaian listrik berjalan sebagaimana mestinya.

Currently, technology has been invented and developed so rapidly with the aim to alleviate the human work, one of them is on control technology. This tool is made to reduce the risk of arbitrariness of the boarding house owner in determining the payment of electricity consumption. In fact, the almost all owners of a boarding house today determine the price paid for electricity consumption per electronic goods such as computers, televisions, irons, rice cookers, and electronic devices that have a high enough power. Though the intensity of usage of each occupant is different. Arduino Uno is used as a brain system in this tool. The advantages of Arduino is having its own programming language, the C language made easy with simple functions. Arduino Uno is equipped with a downloader that allows users to upload a program from the PC to the Arduino Uno. In the Arduino will be connected to the LCD, current sensor, and the Matrix keypad system on the tool that will calculate the power comsumption goes properly.
