ANALISIS USAHA GULA KELAPA DI KECAMATAN KOKAP KABUPATEN KULONPROGO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha rumag tangga gula kelapa, mengetahui kontribusi usaha rumah tangga gula kelapa pada pendapatan rumah tangga petani, dan mengetahui permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam usaha gula kelapa. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, dan penentuan responden ditentukan secara purposive sampling yaitu petani perajin gula kelapa di Kecamatan Kokap Kabupaten Kulonprogo. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis tabel, persentase kontribusi, dan uji t satu sisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usaha gula kelapa tidak layak untuk diusahakan dan dikembangkan dengan indikator total penerimaan usaha gula kelapa lebih kecil dari biaya yang dikeluarkan yaitu rerata R/C sebesar 0,34, produktivitas modal usaha gula kelapa lebih kecil dari suku bunga bank BRI yaitu rerata Phi/C sebesar -0,67, produktivitas tenaga kerja usaha gula kelapa lebih kecil dari Upah Minimum Kabupaten Kulonprogo yaitu rerata PTK sebesar 15.918,32, dan usaha gula kelapa tidak memberikan keuntungan terhadap petani perajin gula kelapa karena BEP bernilai negatif. Usaha gula kelapa memberikan kontribusi yang tergolong besar pada pendapatan rumah tangga petani yaitu 53,14%. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi petani perajin gula kelapa meliputi harga jual yang tidak stabil, faktor alam, pembelian alat baru, terbatasnya modal usaha, dan kurangnya pembinaan dalam usaha gula kelapa.

The objectives of this research are to determined the feasibility of palm sugar household enterprise, to known the contribution of palm sugar household enterprise earning, and to learned more about palm sugar enterprise problems that had been faced. Analitic description had been used in this reseach. The reseach location and respondent was decided by purposive method sampling. The object of respondent was palm sugar craftmen farmers in Kokap Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. Table analisys, constributions percentage, and one-way T-Test were used to describe the results. The results showed that this kind of enterprise was unexpedience and unproper to develop. This output had indicated by the Total Cost was smaller than the Revenue Cost (0.34). The capital productivity showed smaller than the BRI interest (-0.67), also the personal fee was lower than minimum Kulon Progo fee which was 15.918,32, moreover the BEP showed negative value so that this palm sugar household enterprise didn't given a profit to it's enterpreneur. Palm sugar enterprise gave big contribution for the household income, it is about 53,14%. Craftmen farmers often faced many of problems, they are unstable sale price, nature factor, new tool purchase, capital enterprise limitations, and lack of government mentor.
