PENGENDALIAN KECEPATAN MOTOR ARUS SEARAH TANPA SIKAT MENGGUNAKAN METODE LOGIKA FUZZY

Motor arus searah tanpa sikat (MASTS) banyak dioperasikan di lingkungan industri, terutama industri yang mudah terbakar. Selain itu, MASTS efisiensinya lebih tinggi dari pada motor induksi, dan berdimensi lebih kecil daripada motor arus searah konvensional. Dengan tidak adanya sikat, maka perawatan menjadi mudah dan hampir tidak ada derau. Logika fuzzy digunakan sebagai salah satu metode pengendalian kecepatan motor. Perancangan pengendali fuzzy dilakukan dengan simulasi kecepatan keluaran berdasar referensi pengendalian fuzzy sehingga diperoleh hasil pengendalian yang optimal. Beberapa jenis defuzzifikasi yang digunakan adalah center of area (COA), bisector, mean of maximum (MOM), largest of maximum (LOM), dan smallest of maximum (SOM). Metode analisis transient dan perhitungan ISE digunakan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi perancangan pengendalian. Pada penelitian, dihasilkan bahwa metode defuzzifikasi yang mampu mengikuti setting kecepatan yang diberikan adalah metode COA. Pengujian perubahan kecepatan dari 1000 rpm sampai 2000 rpm dihasilkan karakteristik tanggapan sistem kendali fuzzy dihasilkan rata-rata waktu kenaikan (tr) 0.02 sekon, rata-rata waktu tunak (ts) 0.03 sekon, rata-rata overshoot sebesar 0.87 % dan rata-rata persentase ISE sebesar 99.36%. Sistem pengendalian fuzzy yang diimplementasikan untuk mengatur MASTS dapat memperbaiki kinerja sistem.

Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors were operated in many industrial environments, especially flammable industry. Besides, it possessed higher efficiency than induction motors, and smaller dimensions than a conventional direct current motors. Moreover, the absence of brush allowed its treatment became easy and showed almost no noise. Fuzzy logic was used as one of the motor speed controlling methods. The design of fuzzy controllers was done by simulating the output speed based on fuzzy controlling reference in order to obtain optimal control results. Several types of defuzzification used were center of area (COA), bisector, mean of maximum (MOM), largest of maximum (LOM), and smallest of maximum (SOM). Transient analysis and integral square error (ISE) calculation methods were used to analyze the design optimization of control. The result showed that defuzzification method was able to follow the speed setting that was provided by COA method. The testing on changes of the speed setting from 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm showed the response characteristics of fuzzy control system were average value of rise time (tr) 0.02 second, steady time (ts) 0.03 second, overshoot 0.87% and the percentage of ISE 99.36%. The fuzzy control system which was implemented to set the BLDC motor could improve the performance system.
