EVALUASI JENIS POHON DI ASRAMA SKOLASTIKAT SCJ (CONGREDATIO SACERDOTUMA SACRO CORDE, JESU) BERDASARKAN FUNGSI DAN FILOSOFI

Skolastikat SCJ (Congredatio Sacerdotuma Sacro Corde, Jesu) yang memiliki luas 1,78 ha merupakan asrama bagi para pemuda untuk menuntut ilmu pendidikan dan keagamaan. Pemilihan jenis pohon yang terdapat di asrama Skolastikat SCJ perlu dievaluasi berdasarkan fungsi dan filosofi agar aktivitas keagamaan di Asrama Skolastikat SCJ dapat berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus pohon di seluruh area Asrama Skolastikat SCJ yang dibagi menjadi 7 area. Selanjutnya identifikasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis, fungsi, dan nilai filosofi yang terkandung pada pohon di asrama Skolastikat SCJ. Hasil identifikasi mendapatkan 29 jenis pohon di area asrama Skolastikat SCJ, yaitu: glodokan pecut, kepel, kemuning, sawo kecik, palem botol, palem ekor tupai, palem kuning, cemara gunung, kelengkeng, mahkota dewa, ketapang, kiara payung, nangka, preh, rambutan, melinjo, mangga, mengkudu, asam Jawa, belimbing, cengkeh, jambu air, jambu mete, kersen, durian, alpokat, cemara kipas, palem kipas, dan salam. Jenis-jenis pohon tersebut memiliki berbagai fungsi, seperti peneduh, penambah estetika, penyerap polusi, peredam suara, dan pengarah jalan. Dari 29 jenis pohon didapatkan 16 jenis pohon yang mempunyai makna filosofi yaitu: glodokan pecut, kepel, kemuning, sawo kecik, palem botol, palem ekor tupai, palem kuning, kelengkeng, mahkota dewa, kiara payung, belimbing, jambu mete, durian, alpokat, cemara kipas, dan palem kipas. Pohon yang telah dievaluasi sudah sesuai menurut fungsi dan nilai filosofinya. Namun demikian, penambahan jumlah pohon diperlukan di setiap area

Skolastikat SCJ (Congregatio Sacerdotuma Sacro Corde, jesu) which has an area of 1.78 hectares is a dormitory for the young man to study the education and religiousness. The selection of trees species in the Skolastikat SCJ dormitory should be evaluated based on the function and philosophy. The evaluation of trees species has the goal to optimize religious activity. This research has been done by tree census method in the area of Skolastikat SCJ which is divided into seven areas. The identification was done to know the species, function, and philosophy in the trees in the Skolastikat SCJ dormitory. The result of identification found that twenty nine trees species in the Skolastikat SCJ dormitory: glodokan pecut, kepel, kemuning, sawo kecik, palem botol, palem ekor tupai, palem kuning, cemara gunung, kelengkeng, mahkota dewa, ketapang, kiara payung, nangka, preh, rambutan, mlinjo, mangga, mengkudu, asam Jawa, belimbing, cengkeh, jambu air, jambu mete, kersen, durian, alpokat, cemara kipas, palem kipas, and salam. The functions of those trees as shade tree, creating aesthetic, reducing pollution and noise, and guiding the street. From those trees, there were sixteen trees that have the value of tree philosphy: glodokan pecut, kepel, kemuning, sawo kecik, palem botol, palem ekor tupai, palem kuning, kelengkeng, mahkota dewa, kiara payung, belimbing, jambu mete, durian, alpokat, cemara kipas, and palem kipas. The evaluation of trees species has been related with the function and value of tree philosophy, but by adding of trees is needed in order to optimize the function and philosophy
