EFISIENSI PRODUKSI DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI KAKAO DI KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui tingkat produksi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kakao di Kulon Progo (2) mengetahui efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor produksi pada usahatani kakao di Kulon Progo (3) menganalisis pendapatan usahatani kakao di Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Kalibawang, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Jumlah responden sebanyak 40 petani dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kakao dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda (fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas), efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi diketahui dengan menghitung nilai indeks efisiensi alokatif, dan pendapatan usahatani kakao dihitung dengan rumus pendapatan usahatani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata produksi petani dalam satu tahun adalah 276,64 kg/ha. Faktor-faktor produksi luas lahan, pupuk kandang dan pupuk NPK berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan produksi kakao di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan input luas lahan, pupuk kandang, dan pupuk NPK belum efisien sehingga perlu ditambahkan. Rerata pendapatan usahatani kakao di Kabupaten Kulon Progo adalah sejumlah Rp 5.636.657/ha/tahun.

This research aims to (1) know the level of production and factors that affect cocoa production of Kulon Progo Regency (2) determine the allocative efficiency of production factors of cocoa production in Kulon Progo Regency (3) analyze the income of cocoa production in Kulon Progo Regency. This study was conducted in Kalibawang Sub-regency, Kulon Progo Regency. Number of respondents were 40 farmers that was chosen by simple random sampling. Factors affecting cocoa production was analyzed with multiple linear regression model (Cobb Douglas production function), allocative efficiency of the use of production factors was analyzed by calculating an index value of allocative efficiency, and the income of cocoa production was analyzed by farmer's income formula. The result of analysis showed that the level of farmers production was 276,64 kg/ha. The production factors such as land, organic fertilizer and NPK fertilizer positively affected to increasing of cocoa production in Kulon Progo Regency. The results of analysis allocative efficiency indicated that used inputs of land, organic fertilizer and NPK fertilizer have not been efficient, so they need to be added more. The average income of cocoa production in Kulon Progo Regency was Rp. 5.636.657/hectares/year.
