HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT DENGAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI PADA KARYAWAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara perceived organizational support dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara perceived organizational support dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan. Semakin positif perceived organizational support maka semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi pada karyawan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 183 orang karyawan PT X yang ada disetiap bagian di perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan menggunakan dua macam alat pengumpulan data, yaitu Skala Komitmen Organisasi berjumlah 15 aitem diadaptasi dari Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) oleh Mowday, dkk. (1979) dan Skala Perceived Organizational Support yang diadaptasi dari Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) dari Rhoades dan Eisenberger (2002) yang telah dimodifikasi dengan pernyataan berjumlah 8 aitem. Hasil dari perhitungan korelasi product moment diperoleh koefisien korelasi (rxy) = 0,658 dengan taraf signifikansi p < 0,01. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara perceived organizational support dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan PT X. Semakin positif perceived organizational support maka semakin tinggi tingkat komitmen organisasi pada karyawan. Nilai R 2 = 0,433 menunjukkan sumbangan efektif perceived organizational support terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 43,3%.

The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment to employee. The hypothesis presented in this study is that there is a positive relationship between the perceived organizational support and organizational commitment to employees. The more positively perceived organizational support, the higher the organization's commitment to employees. The subjects in this study were 183 employees of PT X who are available in each section in the company. This study is a survey research by using two kinds of data collection tools,which the Scale of Organizational Commitment which consisted of 15 items adopted from Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) by Mowday, et al. (1979) and the Scale of Perceived Organizational Support that is adapted from the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) by Rhoades and Eisenberger (2002) which has been modified by the statement which consisted 8 items. The results of calculation product moment correlation obtainable the coefficient of correlation (rxy) = 0.658 with a significance level of p <0.01. It shows that there is a significant positive relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment to employee PT X. The more positive perceived organizational support then the higher levels of organizational commitment to employee. The value of R 2 = 0,433 shows the effective contribution of perceived organizational support towards organizational commitment of 43.3%.
