Tugas akhir ini merupakan terjemahan teks Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi dan Shokubutsu no Fushigi karya Kenzo Hisamichi. Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi dan Shokubutsu no Fushigi adalah salah satu judul dalam buku Kagaku no Naze Doushite yang menjelaskan beberapa kekhasan yang dimiliki serangga, ikan dan tumbuhan. Isi teks yang menarik menjadi salah satu alasan untuk menerjemahkan teks ini. Selain itu, teks Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi dan Shokubutsu no Fushigi juga dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang kekhasan pada serangga, ikan dan tumbuhan. Dalam teks ini dijelaskan tentang proses pembuatan sarang laba-laba, penyebab daun berguguran, kegunaan tanduk pada kumbang, proses membuat madu, dan lain-lain. Metode yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan teks ini adalah metode komunikatif. Dengan menggunakan metode komunikatif, isi cerita akan langsung dimengerti oleh pembaca. Metode komunikatif sangat memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi dan lebih menyesuaikan dengan budaya bahasa sasaran sehingga tidak menimbulkan kesulitan dan ketidakjelasan teks terjemahan.

This final project paper is a translation of the text titled Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi and Shokubutsu no Fushigi written by Kenzo Hisamichi. Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi and Shokubutsu no Fushigi is two of the text from a book title is Kagaku Naze Doushite that describes some peculiarities that are owned insects, fishes and plants. The text content is very interesting to be one of the reasons for the author to translate this text. After that, the text of Mushi ya Sakana no Fushigi and Shokubutsu no Fushigi also to increase knowledge to writer and the reader about the characteristic of insects, fishes and plants. The describes in this text is described about the process of making a cobweb, cause falling of leaves, usability horn of beetle, the process of making honey, and others. The method to translate this text is a method of communicative. By using the method of communicative, the content of the story will be understood by the reader. Method of communicative very concerned about the principles of communication. The except, the method of communicative is more adapted to the culture of the target language so as not to cause difficulty and obscurity text of translate.
