PENGUKURAN PRODUKTIVITAS MENGGUNAKAN METODE AMERICAN PRODUCTIVITY CENTER (APC) DI PABRIK GULA GONDANG BARU KLATEN - JAWA TENGAH

PG Gondang Baru adalah industri yang bergerak dalam pembuatan gula. Tebu adalah tanaman musiman yang menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan gula. Untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara tebu dan gula perlu dilakukan pengukuran produktivitas. Pengukuran produktivitas merupakan perbandingan antara output dengan input. Pengukuran produktivitas dilakukan dengan tujuan mengukur produktivitas yang terjadi di perusahaan pada periode tahun 2012 dan tahun 2013 dengan menggunakan angka indeks secara total dan parsial seperti bahan baku, energi, tenaga kerja, dan modal. Pengukuran produktivitas dilakukan menggunakan metode APC (American Productivity Center). Metode APC merupakan pengukuran produktivitas yang didasarkan pada hubungan profitabilitas dengan produktivitas dan faktor perbaikan harga. Hasil pengukuran produktivitas perusahaan berdasarkan angka indeks yang telah dilakukan perhitungan yaitu produktivitas total sebesar 8.241, profitabilitas total sebesar 20.182 dan indeks perbaikan harga total sebesar 10.902.

PG Gondang Baru is an industry which engaged in the production of sugar. Sugarcane is a seasonal plant which becomes the basic ingredients production of sugar. To know the comparison between the sugarcane and sugar need to be done the measurement of productivity. Measurement of productivity is the comparison between the output and the input. Productivity measurement is performed with the aim of measuring productivity that occurs in the company during the years 2012 and 2013 by using the index number in total and partial as raw materials, energy, labor, and capital. Productivity measurement is carried out using the method of APC (American Productivity Center). APC method is a productivity measurement which based on the relationship between the productivity & profitability and price improvement factor. The results of productivity measurement company based on indices calculation that have been carried out that the total productivity of 8.241, the total profitability amounted 20.182 and a total price improvement index amounted to 10.902.
