ANALISIS DALAM IMPLEMENTASI PROJECT BASED LEARNING PADA PRAKTIKUM BASIS DATA (STUDI KASUS DI LABORATORIUM KOMPUTER DASAR PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOMPUTER UGM)

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) penerapan model Project Based Learning dalam Praktikum Basis Data; (2) mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model Project Based Learning pada Praktikum Basis Data. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis melakukan studi kausal komparatif hasil belajar antara mahasiswa praktikum Basis Data model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan model Teacher Centered Content Oriented (TCCO). Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Komputer Dasar Ilmu Komputer UGM. Hasil belajar mahasiswa berupa nilai yang diperoleh dari posttest. Pengolahan data penelitian meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji-t dan analisis angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara peserta didik model PjBL dengan model TCCO pada praktikum Basis Data, dimana rata-rata peserta didik model PjBL lebih besar dibanding model TCCO; (2) peserta didik model PjBL pada umumnya menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran yang telah dilalui serta memudahkan mereka dalam memahami materi praktikum basis data.

Processing research data including normality-test, homogeneity-test, t-test and questionnaires analysis. The results: (1) the average difference between student learning outcomes PjBL models with TCCO models in practice Database System, where this average students PjBL models larger than TCCO models; (2) students PjBL models generally show a positive attitude towards learning that have been passed and enable them to understand the course practice database system.
