KAJIAN PERBANDINGAN PRODUKSI SUSU TERHADAP ESTRUS POSTPARTUM DI KELOMPOK TERNAK SAPI PERAH MAJU MAKMUR JATINOM

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara pengaruh produksi susu terhadap estrus post partum yang dicapai oleh sapi perah Friesien Holstein (FH) di Kelompok Ternak Sapi Perah Maju Makmur Jatinom. Nilai keberhasilan peternakan sapi perah dapat dilihat dari produksi susu dan performa reproduksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survey langsung ke kelompok ternak, pengumpulan data recording dan rata-rata produksi susu harian selama 20 hari. Sampel yang diambil adalah 10 ekor sapi betina FH Australia umur 3 sampai 4 tahun. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah produksi susu yang lebih rendah dari normal diikuti dengan estrus post partus yang lebih panjang dari standart reproduksi sapi perah. Kemungkinan di sebabkan karena manajemen pemeliharaan yang belum optimal, sehingga mempengaruhi produksi dan reproduksi.

This research aims to review the relationship between the influences of milk towards estrus post partum achieved by dairy cows Friesien Holstein (FH) at dairy cattle group Maju Makmur Jatinom. The value of success of dairy farm can be seen from the production of milk and reproductive performance. The implementation of research conducted by survey directly to livestock group while data collection of recording and the average dairy of milk production for about 20 days. The sample was taken from 10 FH Australia female cows, the age of 3 until 4 years old. The conclusion of the research is that milk production which lower than normal followed by estrus post partus which longer than the standard of dairy cattle reproduction can be caused by the maintenance management that are not optimal. So that it influences production and reproduction.
