PERAN PROGRAM CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DALAM PEMBANGUNAN MASYARAKAT DESA HUTAN OLEH PT. RIMBA HUTANI MAS - SUMATERA SELATAN

PT. Rimba Hutani Mas merupakan perusahaan yang telah menerapkan program CSR kepada masyarakat desa hutan di Desa Muara Medak dan Desa Pulai Gading, Kecamatan Bayung Lencir, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, oleh karena itu perlu diketahui peran program CSR dalam pembangunan masyarakat desa hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pelaksanaan program CSR, (2) peran program CSR dalam pembangunan masyarakat desa hutan di kawasan HTI, (3) dampak program CSR, terhadap peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan HTI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode dasar studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi sedangkan pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik snowball (bola salju). Data dan informasi yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta pengambilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan program CSR secara garis besar dikelompokkan kedalam 3 (tiga) aspek yakni (1) aspek ekonomi dengan bentuk kegiatan di bidang kewirausahaan, pengembangan produksi pangan dan pembinaan koperasi, (2) aspek sosial budaya dengan bentuk kegiatan di bidang keagamaan, pengembangan pendidikan, pelayanan kesehatan, kegiatan kemasyarakatan, keadatan serta kepemudaan dan olahraga, (3) aspek lingkungan dengan bentuk kegiatan penyuluhan lingkungan, pelestarian sumber daya hutan dan alam serta kegiatan pengelolaan dan perlindungan hutan, (4) aspek infrastruktur dengan bentuk kegiatan pembangunan sarana dan prasarana di bidang perekonomian dan sosial masyarakat. Program CSR berdampak positif bagi pembangunan masyarakat desa hutan di kawasan HTI dalam hal penambahan sarana dan prasarana, peningkatan kondisi sosial budaya, peningkatan peluang usaha dan perekonomian serta peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan HTI. Di samping itu, program CSR juga berdampak positif terhadap peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan HTI yakni dapat meminimalisir konflik serta terjalinnya kerjasama yang baik antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan HTI.

PT Rimba Hutani Mas is a company that has implemented CSR programs to the community forest village in the Muara Medak Village and Pulai Gading Village, Bayung Lencir Sub-District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera Province. Therefore, it is necessary to know the role of CSR programs in the development of community forest village. This research aims understand: (1) implementation of CSR programs, (2) the role of CSR programs in development of the community forest village in the area of HTI, (3) the impact of the CSR programs, on the role of the community in the management of HTI. The research is using qualitative approach with case study as basic method. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation study while the informant selection is using the snowball technique. Data information obtained then analyzed in accordance with the research objectives with Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, also conclusion making and verification. The results showed the implementation of CSR programs broadly classified into 3 (three) aspects: (1) economic aspect with the forms activities of entrepreneurial, the development of food production and development of cooperatives, (2) social and cultural aspect with the forms of activities in the fields of religious, education development, health services, community activities, mores also youth and sports, (3) environmental aspect with the forms of environmental education activities, the preservation of forests and natural resources as well as the management and protection of forests. (4) infrastructure aspect with the forms of construction facilities and infrastructure in the field of economy and social community. CSR programs has a positive impact in the development of the community forest village in area of HTI with terms of additional facilities and infrastructure, improvement of social and cultural conditions, increase business opportunities and the economy as well as increasing community participation in the management of HTI and also impact against role of community in the management of HTI by minimizing conflicts as well as establishment of good cooperation between the company and community in the management of HTI.
