PENERAPAN EFEK VISUAL DALAM FILM PROFIL SEKOLAH VOKASI UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai kota pendidikan. Di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta terdapat lembaga pendidikan dari usia dini hingga perguruan tinggi yang jumlahnya relatif tinggi. Universitas Gadjah Mada adalah salah satu dari ratusan perguruan tinggi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Sekolah Vokasi adalah institusi pendidikan keahlian yang berada dalam tata kelola Universitas Gadjah Mada yang mewadahi semua program diploma di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Sebagai pendukung dalam hal mempromosikan Sekolah Vokasi kepada masyarakat luas, akan diciptakan visualisasi dalam bentuk film profil yang didukung dengan penerapan efek visual yang dapat membantu memberikan informasi tentang Sekolah Vokasi dan mampu menarik minat calon mahasiswa baru. Efek visual merupakan proses pembuatan gambar yang menyertakan proses manipulasi tertentu yang dapat membantu menyampaikan informasi yang tidak dapat disampaikan dengan proses pengambilan gambar. Efek visual dikemas sebagai gambaran dari penjelasan yang dibacakan oleh narator.

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is one of Indonesia’s provinces which is known as Educational City. In this region, the amount of education institutes provided is relatively high from early childhood education until college degree. As for the quality they provide is higher than the other regions. Gadjah Mada University is one of hundreds colleges located in this Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. And Vocational College is vocational education institute in diploma degree whose being managed under Gadjah Mada University’s auspices. In advance to support the media promoting of Vocational College to the surrounding, will be created visualizations in the form of profile film which is supported by the visual effect application. Visual effects which is being applied is expected to help deliver information in this Vocational College profile film in order to attract new student applicants. The visual effect is the process of making images that include specific manipulation processes which can help deliver information that can not be delivered from the process of shooting. Visual effect is packed as illustration of the explanation which is read by narator.
