Kegiatan praktik kerja lapangan merupakan satu upaya untuk mengoptimalkan ilmu yang didapat mahasiswa dari bangku perkuliahan dan memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata kepada mahasiswa sebagai calon pekerja profesional agar dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori profesi yang didapatkan selama perkuliahan dengan praktik profesi pada dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya. Dengan mengikuti praktik kerja lapangan tersebut diharapkan mahasiswa mampu bertanggung jawab sebagai calon pekerja. Kegiatan praktik kerja lapangan dilaksanakan pada Kantor Notaris dan PPAT Eviana, S.H., M.Kn. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan praktik lapangan tersebut penulis diberi kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi dalam mengurus pemecahan sertifikat tanah akibat pembagian waris. Pemecahan bidang tanah sebenarnya tidak rumit dan dapat dilakukan dengan biaya yang lebih sedikit apabila masyarakat mengurusnya secara mandiri tanpa melalui bantuan jasa Notaris dan PPAT yang akan membutuhkan biaya yang relatif lebih mahal, namun karena ketidaktahuan mengenai prosedur - prosedur yang harus ditempuh maka banyak masyarakat yang lebih memilih untuk mengurus pemecahan sertifikat tanah dengan datang ke Kantor Notaris dan PPAT kemudian menyerahkan pengurusan tersebut melalui jasa Notaris dan PPAT. Perlu diketahui juga untuk menjamin kepastian hukum atas hak tanah harus diadakan pendaftaran tanah yang diatur oleh peraturan pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1997. Sebelum melakukan pemecahan hak atas tanah, dilakukan juga prosedur peralihan hak. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa apabila orang yang mempunyai hak milik atas tanh meninggal dunia, maka hak miliknya secara otomatis beralih kepada ahli waris yang sah. Setelah proses peralihan hak atas tanah yang telah diwariskan sudah jadi, ahli waris yang sudah jadi pemegang hak yang sah bisa melakukan pemecahan secara sempurna menjadi beberapa bagian seeperti yang ditegaskan pada pasal 48 ayat (1) Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1997 tentang pendaftaran tanah.

Solving actual plot is not complicated and can be done with less cost when people take care of independently without the help of Notary and PPAT services that would cost relatively more expensive, but because of ignorance about the procedure - the procedure to be followed so many more people choose to take care of solving the land certificate to come to the Office of the Notary and PPAT then handed over the management of services through the Notary and PPAT. Keep in mind as well to ensure legal certainty over land rights should be held land registration regulated by government regulation No. 24 of 1997. Prior to solving land rights, rights switchover procedures performed well. As we know that if people who have ownership rights to tanh died, then his rights are automatically transferred to the legal heirs. After the transfer of rights over land that has been passed already finished, ready-made heir legitimate rights-holders can perfectly split into several parts Seeperti affirmed in Article 48 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997 concerning land registration.
